Good game, would be interesting to see something like this fleshed out in a fast pace sort of way.
Game looks great and gameplay is very fun, but it really lacks sound. Nice harvest animation tho
Love the look and feel of this. Some nice mechanics, and the difficulty seemed about right (although a bit tougher for me, testing on a track-pad).
This game is HARD it was really satisfying when I finally finished it
It took me a little bit to get used to the jump adding speed, but once I got the hang of it it was very satisfying using my jumps and shots really quickly and building up a tonne of speed. The level design is really good too, it's cool how you make the player re-use the jump pad on the last level.
The jumping is very smooth and rewarding once you figure it out! The levels are well designed but I wished for some checkpoints so I dont have to do everything all over again. Solid work!
The idea of harvesting your every mechanic was pretty nice. Controls felt weird for a platformer tho. After getting used to them i was able play it properly. Good job!
@vaizaragorn The controls probably feel weird because they're physics-based, and therefore less snappy than some other games, but nice to hear that wasn't too much of a hinderance.
@rob6566 yeah it's definitely a game built for keyboard and mouse. Props to you for beating it without it, though!
The first platform confused me a lot because I don't know how to jump to the highest point using double jump. But after some tries, it comes to me that speed is superimposed. Then everything become easy. In a sense, That's really a good design.
This is a solid platformer with a unique momentum implementation for the double jumps. As others said it took a bit to understand how to jump high, but it was fun after I figured it out. Nice work.
This game doesn't feel unfinished for a jam. It's complete with a good tutorial and a nicely tuned level. It has a cute look, and the controls felt pretty good. The double jumps took getting used to. I didn't expect that jumping in quick succession would launch me so much farther than two slower jump presses.
The momentum of the jumps is really cool, the flowers are cute. I like it! Well done!
Didn't know that the time between space presses were importan for the jump high until I red the comments ^^U and even so I couldn't pass the first level xD Not sure why it didn't jump at all sometimes either. I loved the simple but cute graphics though ;-)
Prefacing with I am horrendous at this game, and platformers in general.
That said, the graphics are clean, the tutorial was appreciated, and after I spent far too long figuring out how the double jump worked, felt pretty accomplished.
