This game is really neat. I love the mechanic of having to dodge out of the way like a racing car. I would prefer if the fish was a little faster. Also, I didn't get the illusion that I was going deeper, more that the trash was coming up at me.

Music rocks, and the sprites are great! Background art should slowly scroll up and get darker, to give the illusion that we're descending as time goes on. Getting hit by the fastest moving objects (especially the net!) was really frustrating. Doubling down on the theme was a nice touch!
I liked, that you didn't just do a standard wasd control scheme, but instead let the fish swim at a constant rate, which made it more interesting to control. I don't know why, but the impact when dying was kind of funny to me^^ Your little text messages are cute :D (facts and stuff). Sometimes it's a bit unfair because of randomness. I tried it like for 15 times, but didn't make it to the end. Also cute pixel art graphics!

Nice little game with a good message at the end
The music is pretty fitting, especially the "Death"-Piano. I found it pretty challenging, because often I brought me into situations where I had no way out. The speed of some of the plastic is very high, so that you can hardly dodge even if you are on the upper screen. But the game is short and the restart button works fast, so thats ok.
I also liked, that the controls where not simple up-down-left-right.
I had much fun playing it, thank you for your entry!
I liked all the varied obstacles, and the overall message to not pollute the oceans! The music is very nice too. Nice job!
I was not ready for that piano when I died! I liked the game, it was difficult but not unfair. There was a good use of theme, and a theme within a theme. You did a great job with the pixel art and with the movement of the clownfish.
@ianthebee @afroant yeah, my idea was to change the background colour to give the idea of going deeper but I sadly did not have time to do it. I didn't think at make the background scroll up, the two combined would have made it so much better.
@gilborn @kunonooni @bytinggames I am happy you like the piano at piano death, I wasn't sure if it was too much :joy: While I was testing the speed I might got quite lucky as it seemed okay, the fast net is really hard to avoid though!

Nice little game! I'm especially fond of the audio, both the music and the DRAMATIC PIANO :D
I was a bit frustrated at times, with the fish being either too fast (when I want to stand still) or too slow (when a Starbucks cup suddenly appears, moving at Mach 1).

Fun little game with an important message. I would have liked to see my final score on the game over screen as often I was too busy dodging to look while playing. Thanks for the game.

That was fun! It took me quite a few tries the last few meters get really intense. I also liked how varied the trash was and the music was nice, too!

Nice little game, the gameover screen always made me sad for the poor fish and play again. My one concern was that the fast net is impossible to avoid. It comes outta nowhere and you just lose. But thats just balance issues great work!
Very nice initiative and a nice game. I like the initiative. Good job!!

Neat little game! I found it quite challenging, took me ~15 attemtps to reach the 15m mark. I think it would be better to use gradient background, because now there's no feeling of going deeper - seems like the fish is just swimming in place. Good job on graphics and music!
Pretty simple but effective. For the audio, the game over fanfare is a little too loud (compared to the gameplay music), and it plays full even if you restart the game before it ends, so adding a fade to it as soon as you restart the game (if it is still playing) would be nice. But good job!
Bit of a simple game, but good supporting a cause! The audio worked well with the gameplay and the graphics were a consistent art style with a nice variety of trash to avoid.
