Nice entry!

First of all, the concept is hilarious, especially the premise of level 7. Great use of the theme.
The graphics and audio are pretty simple but get the job done. Adding on the buttons and UI for the fictional GPS product was a nice touch.
I do think there are some things that could be clearer from a gameplay perspective. First, I was never quite sure what the car was planning on doing, and would sometimes get caught by surprise when it decided to turn and I anticipated it going straight so I could fill in more ground. Some sort of indication of the car's planned movement, and maybe a way to intercept it partway through turning, would have made those moments feel less bad.
Graphically, the cars turning around the corners looked a bit awkward, especially certain directions of U-turns that looked like they turned in the wrong direction.
Finally, the procedural generation was really impressive for Compo. Given that they were generated randomly, the levels were surprisingly varied but the difficulty felt similar for maps of the same level.
Overall nice work for a 48 hour jam!
Very fun concept, a bit unclear as jeremy say about the clarity of the objective of the car at times, but I really like the idea overall.
Well done!
This is a pretty clever idea for a game! Trying to find how many loops and wrong turns is a very neat puzzle. The randomness of the level generation does make some levels impossible to learn how to maximize the delay, but the good sets feel really fun to mess around in. It may have helped to include a mini-map or a preview of the level layout at the start so the player has a small chance to plan out their complicated route.
The humor is a highlight especially, the last level concept is great! The levels did also get harder as it seemed the car moves faster, though some new mechanics in later levels can add a lot more to deal with. Very great work on this!
Creative idea, interesting challenge to try to be as inefficient as possible :) The car turning animation looks a little bit janky, but otherwise the graphics are ok. The music gets a little bit repetitive but it is appropriate and not annoying. Nice entry overall, cool to try something different.
This was a nice entry! the music is nice and relaxing and the concept and gameplay is pretty fun once you get used to the controls that were a bit tricky
Very good idea, and a nice implementation of it! Solving the puzzle was enjoyable, and overall a very good joke. Like some other folks said, the animations could be a little jarring, but nothing a polish pass wouldn't fix. Thanks for sharing!
The game is hilarious, I like it. And very creative for a game jam. I didn't expect additional traffic later on!
The game is GREAT. Easy to get addicted to. Well done.
A really unique concept! Never seen anything like it, the smartness of the driver to start directing themselves after they catch on that you're being bad (when taking the same paths) was a smart touch! I loved the fast pace feel to the game! Overall really creative and fun!
Excellent interpretation of the theme. Procedurally generated levels are a nice feat for a compo game. Good level of difficulty. Great job! Be sure to review a bunch of games so you get a score!
The concept for a game is awesome, but I did get the controls. For example, I'm keep pressing left, but the cars turn on some crossroads correctly to the left and on other to the right. It is obvious that I'm missing something, since other people were able to play it without the problem. Anyway, good job with the game.
The driver must be a really reckless one driving that fast through a city! Enjoyable little game, spent quite a bit of time on some of the stages due to layout but i managed in the end with 134 minutes!
Thanks everyone for all the great feedback!
@jeremy-ryan I think you're right that defaulting to "Continue Straight" instead of "Recalculating" after each turn would be more intuitive, so the car doesn't turn unless you tell it to. Indicating the planned movement is also a good idea; I was initially planning to add a turn signal animation to provide more warning of upcoming turns, but ran out of time to implement. Thanks for the feedback, and nice job getting 154 minutes!
@toppervideogames Yeah, a mini-map would definitely have been helpful, or maybe starting with the level zoomed out all the way before focusing on the car. Thanks for the suggestion!
@zimny11 Sorry the controls weren't super clear! You use the arrow keys to indicate which direction the car should try to move in the world frame, rather than in the car's reference frame. So if the car is driving to the right of the map and you want to make a left turn, you should press the up key. I actually had originally started with the car-relative control scheme, but it was a lot harder to keep track of while playing.
@paul-nadan Thank you for clarification. That explains a lot :P I will give it another try with this info in mind.
