The performance was quite bad on my end. I like the graphics and the portrait art was quite nice. I like the game but couldn't progress much due to performance issues. Overall, good job!

I don't think that my computer is too bad, but I can't launch the game with 'Fatal error' window every time :/Screenshot 2022-04-05 154030.png

@tracex Very sorry that the performance is bad for you :( . Glad you liked it nontheless!

@borchezz Hi none of us in the team experience that, is it maybe that you have too many processes on your PC perhaps? Very sorry that this is happening to you

I played the game till the end, but I still don't understand what exactly happened in the game. Why does the main character die after some amount of time? How did Lanka get into this mess? Why only one is escaping? What world is this in?

There are many things that aren't in the same style, which makes it look poor. The slides look great, but when paired with the 3D, it makes the experience inconsistent.

The movement is quite floaty. I've missed many jumps because of the acceleration.

The platforms move too fast in my opinion.

And lastly, what besides the timer is the delayed inevitable?

It is a bit rough around the edges, it could use some improvements, but in the end you've made a game, so congrats!

@sprotex Hey! Thank you for your feedback!

First of all about the story. Lanka from player's perspective is at first innocent human animal mutant which seems harmless and so you as a player help her escape. She is being tested on and watched (like her imprisoned comrades). The timer is basically Lanka's time to finish the test room for her, otherwise she dies by a poisonous smog used in the room. You are supposed to think that you want to delay the inevitable by escaping the rooms and moving forward (purely for more fun experience however each room is a checkpoint, we didn't feel like force the player play all over again just to fit the theme fully). In the ending scene you will see that she is less of a good soul she seemed and that she was imprisoned because she was quite a dangerous specimen. So she unleashes the smog used on her in the room, does a rune ritual, sets the world aflame and she is inevitable, which has been only delayed by this. Hope this clears it a bit :) .

Since all of us had a touch on the level design and partially the content was from downloaded assets and partially content was our own created assets the consistency would be very hard to keep, we also felt like we want to each do our own touch and express each of ourselves.

Thanks for playing our game! <3

I liked the scenario art style, but why are the platforms so fast? The character design is beautiful and cute. Congratulations

I enjoyed the art and the atmosphere, but I found the gameplay difficult. It wasn't clear for example why I wasn't allowed to grab a box sometimes, and why I couldn't always jump.

thegoodhunter 2022-04-06 01:53

I like the perspective of the game. Only thing that bugged me a little bit was the button level. I would need to press the button and walk away to see what happened. It would have been nice to see exactly what was happening the moment I press the button.

Thank you all for your feedback we read all of it! Sorry for all the difficulties, we take this feedback and hopefully for next game take all this experience! :)

@giardi We have been taken away a bit too much when playing with the additive force that these elevators do when you jump from them. But we agree they are too fast.

@evolution101 The box grabbing was sadly a bit bugged for us, it's not intended at all to be ungrabbable.

@thegoodhunter We wanted to make a miniature of the elevators, but sadly not enough time, sorry.

Finally!!! Finally!!! Got to the second level!! What an exceptional game. You have done very well

kita 2022-04-06 20:40

The movement felt a bit wonky, the speed up was a little too fast:D. The camera perspective was nice, but it seemed to be too claustrophobic and distracting at some places, mainly the third puzzle level. In the second puzzle level, the elevator was waaaaay too fast.

Otherwise, really nice game. I really enjoyed the graphics and the lightning was really well done, setting the mood just right! Really good job

thanks for playing! Thanks for giving us your feedback!

Really enjoyed the game overall once I got past the hurdle of level 2. It felt like the platforms were going too fast and I used momentum to get me to the top rather than the other little platforms to navigate around. I wasn't sure if that was an intended strategy. The music and 2d art at the end was really nice and my overall experience was good.

@kitkii Thank you for playing our game!!!

I liked the work with the light in the game, well done!

dingledorf 2022-04-16 01:13

Nice game, very impressive for a such a short time! I agree with the others that the platforms moved a bit too quickly in the 2nd level. In the third level it would be nice to change the camera perspective so that we can see how pressing the buttons modified the level -- it was a bit inconvenient to move back-and-forth between the buttons and the chasm to be able to see what they did. Other than that, I enjoyed the level design overall. The art and animation is also nice, and the music fit very well. Well done!

@dingledorf Thank you so much for your comment! This just makes me smile! <3
