Cool idea. Wasn't sure how to use the upgrades, or if I did use them, what they did. But I will say I had more of a blast collecting the treasures and pickups then I thought I would. Great art style, and overall feel.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD50 → Bar Up!

Game ran very well, just not quiote sure of the point of the game. add som monsters, more walls to your level. A little background music, and a definite goal.
Game was good though and ran flawlessly
Runs well, nice pixel art but I couldn't figure out what the upgrades did or why I was losing/gaining health. It seems from your description you had more planned, which is a shame because having an unfinished game is never fun :)
BTW your itch.io page isn't set up to use the HTML5 build in browser, you need to set "Kind of project" to HTML5 and then tick the "play in browser" checkbox under your uploaded html5 zipfile.
Has promise but seems mostly unfinished.
Not sure if it was a bug but the game never ended for me. I was just zooming around with 0 hp still picking up things.
Zooming around was fun though XD and you nailed the pick up noise.
it was fun running around collecting things but I wish I knew what the upgrades did or what you needed to purchase one! Nice work
There must be a lot of efforts put into this, I wished you could've gave it one more day and took a shoot at the Jam but I see that you've been aiming for something cool, scope carefully next time and wish you the best of luck most important thing is that you tried
I think others have covered the bit about being unfinished. It would help if it was explained in the description what was trying to be accomplished. That way we could judge it on the intentions also.
Graphics were straight forward and good. Not sure what the items are that give the negative sound and subtract time but one quickly learns to avoid them. Moving and collecting the 3 good items works well, the background was interesting. I'd be curious to see this game again when more is complete including the upgrades.
It seems to have potential to be fun and easy to pick up. Keep working on it and good effort so far.
I did not see much gameplay, but the visuals was pretty good.
Good effort, but unfinished. The gui/art is alright.
The art style is nice. Good luck next time!
It is apparent to me that this one isn't done. There is a special category for unfinished games, I think. I actually found myself really like the aesthetic of this game, though. I wish I could offer more feedback, but I feel like what I got to play just isn't close enough to your vision for it to be fair to do so.
Time management is a challenge, especially in the compo. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. Here's hoping next time goes better!
