I love rhythm games. A cool selection of music. In some cases, it is not very obvious and then it becomes more difficult to get into it.

Guys, add screenshots from the game to the description) In general, it's quite atmospheric
It looks awesome and it's polished well. Nice work
I love rhythm games and this has been one of them.
Interesting game! I like it!
love the music choice this was a absolute vibe to play the art direction was also super clean fantastic submission.
Thx :D
Game looks fun in the screenshots. I'd really like to have a WebGL or Mac version :frowning2:
I can't figure out how to buy any turrets in phase 2, and when I try to proceed it just game overs. Have I mmissed a control?
@karln You don't have to press 'P' right away, you have to buy turrets! You can move around with the arrow keys and press "e" near the little cylinders to buy turrets :)
Oh okay, "E" is what I was missing, I was trying spacebar and clicking etc. I'm off to try again, then :) EDIT: ohhhh the platform things! I missed them completely and was trying to place turrets at the swirly portals
What an unreal visual, I'm getting high
The screenshots look incredibly good but I wish I could play it on the web :sob:
Oh my! This was something different. I really liked the Approach that gave you a different feeling about this Jam.
Keep up the great work!
I like the style and the graphics look amazing. Pretty good job, especially in 72h! Gameplay wise it's not my cup of tee with the rhythm part.
Really love the atmosphere and cute character sprites. Great work!
And it was today I realised I have no finger coordination X) Definitely started strong here! Loved the visuals and was hooked with the music!
I really liked your game. You did a great job and did a great job!!!
Cool concept that it switches between gameplay styles. And the music is a bop :D
It's just "Musical"
Wow! this is impressive as heck! THe art and music are fantastic! I was wondering -- were the rythm components manually arranged? Or were they somehow procedurally generated? Eg how easy is it to add a new song?
super cool visual style, everything is top notch, I really enjoyed it
Cool game! Sometimes it was a bit difficult to feel which accents in the music were intented rhythmically, so it then became more of guessing than exact hitting. Also the audio cues for hitting and missing could be a bit more prominent. Overall very cool!
Arte e atmosfera impecáveis, parabens adorei.
@avi Hey, we used MIDI File to generate notes ! It allow us to implement quite easily a new song ( so even for us, complete beginner in music can have a decent result ! ) S/O to this really nice tuto : https://youtu.be/ev0HsmgLScg?feature=shared How to make a rhythm game in Unity ( using MIDI ) by SkyanSam
@avi What a well designed and thought out game. Never got past the rhythm section though.
I might try it later when I have more time to play.
Hello, I liked a lot this game, its enjoyable and graphics are cool. As a drummer, I suggest to use a rythm control for the songs (for example, one button for the bass durm, other for the snare, another for toms and other for cymbals for example) although it could be tricky to play with haha It's only a suggestion but the game is already pretty cool Congrats!
Wow, I'm bad at rhythm games :D But yours is fun nonetheless! The graphics are nice all around and the sound as well!
I think it would be an improvement, if the message wouldn't just say "Press P to start next round" but instead what the player will actually do in the next round. E.g. "Press P to start jamming", "Press P to place turrets" and "Press P to defend against the enemies". I imagine that could help understand the game loop in the first playthrough and what you are supposed to do. Also, the turret spots could be highlighted in some way. I walked to the portals first in search of a place to put my turret and only then realized that there were designated places for them.
But, as I said, great job from all of you! :)
Love this game and concept! very fun to play!
Wow! All this coolness and only in 72 hours! I really respect your work! Even if I'm bad in rythm games.
I'm super impressed by the arsenal of music tracks that you all managed to fit into this game without detracting from everything else. It was visually and mechanically very cool as well, even if a little rough around the edges. This is a super stylish entry, and you all should be very proud!
Side note: as someone with the first name Cadence, I feel moved to give this game the Cadence seal of approval, as it kept randomly giving me Katy Perry's hit 2010 pop tune California Gurls ft. Snoop Dogg, which was both unforgettable AND undeniable.
very nice rhytm td :) artstyle and music are so cool! GJ guys!
Awesome entry ! I'm usually not a big fan of rhythm games but it was so well done here that I was sucked into it. Great songs , cool gameplay mix, very addictive. Well done guys !
It's a shame, the game is based on music but you have to tap before and not in rhythm for it to work and count! Otherwise I think there is only one level and that's why we have a game over when we click on P for the next game. The graphics are otherwise pretty but too bad I didn't get anything that spawned demons. Big like on the music though!
I'm too lame at rhythm games, but this one was fun! Too bad I didn't have any demon spawn after the music. I only could walk around and when I press P, I had a game over. But it was fun anyway, and pretty!
Amazing graphics and good taste in the selection of music. After the rhythm part I didn't know what to do and how to summon anything so i just hit "p". Got me quite disappointed to see the game over screen at this point already :(
I had some troubles to understand third phase, first time its just ended when i just pressed p, second time i've got game over immediately. Anyway, love art&music, rhytm phase is fun, even if it seems out of sync for me.
It looks like an interesting concept! It seems you guys did a very good job!
Remember that game about Little rapper in red cap? So, this it is, but it convenient buttons and a cute main character!
I really liked the opportunity to walk and equip the base. I will be waiting for your game to become popular))
Good game, it looks amazing
