Fun concept. The mechanics are interesting and have potential, but I feel the game fails to utilize them. The difficulty seems to come mostly from having a lower movement speed than the enemies, and it never really tests the player's ability to position themselves and engage with the healing/hurting mechanics efficiently
Hmmm... It's strange you feel like that cause, technically enemies can't move faster than player. And you do need to position yourself properly to heal/hurt properly. But I guess it doesn't seem to communicate well. Thanks for playing :)

I liked the music. I like the basicly billions of options. It should problably stop the timer when you kill all the demons cause i often ran into the situastion where there would be no enemies and i would just have to wait for the timer to stop. Otherwise interesting concept with the healing and hurting.
This game is technically astonishing. I'm not sure I've ever played anything with this many settings. Cheats, debug options, you can adjust the gamma, it's seriously impressive. Unfortunately it feels kind of wasted on such a rudimentary game. Walking around and shooting left and right gets stale after a few rounds, and I wish the timer counted down faster. I don't know what unit of time it's using, but it's definitely not seconds, lol. You did some good work, but I feel you may need to reconsider your priorities. Focus on making a fun, varied game before you worry about giving players the option to customize it in every conceivable way.
Really loved the mechanics of this game, and the music, graphics and different abilities were all super satisfying. The only thing is I didn't feel like I got a chance to use all those mechanics in a challenging setting. BUT I really enjoyed the experienced, and really happy I played it. Thanks for making this!

Great job! Just one small thing, I think that the timer should end as soon as you complete the objective. I spent some time waiting for the timer to run out with nothing to do.
This is almost a demo of game menus and options. How the hell did you manage to put so many options and abilities in your game? That's awesome! It's almost more impressive than the game itself. With a little more ideas on the game and better graphical assets, you could have a really great game!

The core idea seems good I like the combat / healing thing and the fact you have to protect and fight at the same time. I'm not sure about the number above monsters and civilian's head ? What does it mean ? Also I think the y movespeed is a bit too slow and sometime frustrating especially when you try to be on the same line of the monster you want to heal

Very cool game mechanics, but it gets boring quickly, but I like it that way.
Thanks for playing guys :) @benjamin : number above demons and civilians are their level. The higher their level, the bigger deed you'd get from them and also the bigger deed you lose if civilian dies. Also demons with high level deals more damage.
Your game was awesome!!! So simple yet fun to play. I forgot to rate you and searched for like an hour to find you again. You deserved a great rating. Thanks for the super game.
Thanks for the game.

Cool game, enjoyed it! Did have a crash on startup with my steering wheel plugged in, but luckily the logs were clear :) I liked the mechanics, but felt like walking was a bit slow and the civilians would run away from my healing which seems odd. Overall, great entry. Well done :)
Felt very polished and I liked the music, although I wished there were more songs. I liked the design of being able to heal/hurt both demons and civilians, it's very elegant game design. The movement could've been better, it felt slow. The game should progress to the next round when you've killed every enemy/healed every civilian because you kinda just wait for the clock to run down at the end. Well done!

Interesting mechanics. It felt a bit slow, especially having to wait for the timer to run out every round. I actually thought the game was broken in the first level, as there at least 20 seconds left when I was done. This was the thing throughout the levels- I had to wait for time to run out. I can't remember how many levels I played (But I feel I got quite far, and to a point where things at least got a bit difficult), but I eventually quick, as I got tired from waiting. Apart from the waiting thing though (Which I know realize took up a huge chunk of this comment), I liked the graphics. Reminded me a bit of a 90s game called Fury of the Furries. I liked the idea of killing baddies, and healing goodies, and the fact you could do both, to both. Overall a nice concept.
Thanks for sharing your game :-)

Played it a view times, but could not really understand the deeds stat. One time I killed both guys in level 2 and got 25/30 deeds, strange.. 2nd time I got 30/30 deeds, but still died. After a while I found out that the green guys are not villans at all! Oops... I need to read better...
There is a lot of effort put into the menu system, I can see that there is a lot of work put in there. Is that from the engine? Or your own creation? If the latter, I would advise to polish gameplay first ;-) A thing I found a bit frutstrating is that I had to wait until the timer was over before proceeding to the next level
nice casual game )
Nice concept and execution! As others have mentioned, the sound effects and music are great!
I was really impressed by the ability to map controls, how well put-together the menu was, and the readme (though you may want to double check the formatting of the readme -- it ended up being distorted a bit in sublime text).
Had a few suggestions on small things that might improve the experience quite a bit if you choose to keep working on this:
**1.) Complete a level immediately when you have enough Deed Score.** This is my single biggest gripe with the game. In most levels, the scoring is generous enough for the player to complete the objective within 5-10 seconds, and the rest of the time is spent aimlessly.
**2.) In general speed everything up.** Everything is so slow! The end of level card ("you have delayed your death!") takes *so* long, and movement is *so* slow. Even the last second seems to linger forever before the level actually ends.
**3.) Give some degree of a "tell" on which direction the NPCs are about to move.** The one frustrating bit about gameplay is that the good NPCs frequently dodge your healing. This is totally fine, but I found that pausing and waiting for the NPC to move wasn't *quite* useful enough (for my taste, anyway), since the player moves pretty slowly. It would be nice to add some kind of hint, such as the NPC looking in the direction he's about to move, so that an observant player can anticipate their movement.
**4.) Penalize the player for hurting the nice NPCs.** Okay, so I'll admit, it was really funny that cornering an NPC, damaging him, and then healing him back up repeatedly is a thing you can do. It even fits nicely with the music and the sinister look of the main character. But it's way too strong. Playing this way, you can earn hundreds of points very easily, and it unfortunately kills the challenge of some otherwise challenging levels.

I liked the menu, so many options! Others have mentioned this but having the level end after you complete the objective rather than waiting for the time would help to speed up the game.
The idea is interesting but it feels a bit like there's too much waiting around after clearing the score threshold.
