I'm a bit lost on how to play the game; it seems the detective can't attack. I kinda just guessed my way to an ending. Props to you guys for the effort put into the art, good work!

@kerosuta You unlock the ability to attack after the first boss
Until then, you have to navigate as a pacifist
Very funny game!
Well. Not sure how to kill the first boss. Not even sure what was the first boss. Controls a bit too sensitive.
You should add a bit more documentation, perhaps a video of playing?
I'm envious of you. I made my game locked away alone in a dark room, while you clearly had a great time making this game, which is awesome! It’s just a pity I couldn’t get past the boss at the cemetery. I simply didn’t understand how to fight it.
I’ll be waiting for the post-jam version to solve this riddle!
@beebster-games
There is a coffin in the room that you pick up and throw to beat him.
I figured out how to beat it! Awesome! I really enjoyed playing. You guys really stand out among all the games with your unique approach!
Interesting detective game
Very good game!
Awesome game! So much creativity in one game. The acting was all really good and I got immersed instantly. Some really fun enemy design too, like the enemy that throws their head
Really dig the 90's live-action-cutscene b-horror vibes. Thank you for a truly unexpected little adventure! I did get stuck right around the hammer-ghost. Controls were a little finicky, but the attack/launch mechanic with Tony was surprisingly entertaining.
This is the hardest platformer I have ever played, great job
I like the idea. I overall liked the videos, and the games atmospere. How to play is not very clear, and the controls feels a bit weird. But overall an interesting jam game.
woooooow ^^ cool cool coooool
very very very nice
This was awesome! It gives me some nostalgia for really old school PC games like Harvester. I can't imagine the amount of work it took to record everything, and you folks even had costumes for the various characters! It was really well done. I would love to see this game taken further. I struggled a bit with the jumping assist from Tony. I couldn't keep it consistent, but aside from that I think this game is an incredible and unique entry! Fits the theme well, too. Nice work!
Neat! Really cool to see some old school FMV stuff! I can tell you had a lot of fun making this. A bit of jank in control and collision which lead to some frustration but I wanted to see how it ended so I kept it up.
I wasn't able to play the game as I'm on iOS but I wanted to leave a comment because your design is just brilliant! I think the "collage" idea works really well, I can just imagine a bunch of buddies getting together to imagine something wild at a party where everyone adds completely crazy ideas, but it all fits together! I love it!
The full-motion videos and sprites are great and add a lot of charm and fun to this game, clearly you had a lot of fun in making it. A big thing I noticed was hit collision from enemies can feel a little wonky where you can't really tell what part of the enemy is hitting you or when, and I found myself getting send back to the start of rooms frequently without really knowing where I was getting hit from.
There's so much to love about this game! The FMV visuals lend themselves really nicely to the sort of spooky-horror-but-having-some-fun-with-it vibes of the game and the music really helps to build things up more on the spookier side of things. The platforming could have been a bit more forgiving, I found myself finding it a bit more annoying than fun a couple of times - although it was never so annoying I wanted to drop the game altogether. The clues given work really well together as well, took a bit of thinking for me to narrow it down to 1 culprit even with everything (at least I think everything) which I think is a positive.
Feels like you all had a fun time making it and that a lot of love was poured into it!
I love it! The epic pictures, the gameplay, the story. nice job! You've all done fantastic :D I've sent this to a few other devs to check out :D
I love that you guys made an FMV game this quickly for the jam. The game was very humorous and I enjoyed it.
