Nice little cosy 3D platformer game, I liked the jelly head character and the cloud particles. Fun game, nice work
Overall it is an excellent game. Plays very well. Controls are good.
I am sure later on there will be a point to the game but right now the playability was very good.
Hard to generate something like this is 3 days
A very cute jumping game! It's a bit difficult for me. Overall, it's very good! The music is also very quiet. The only downside may be that the fit with the theme is not particularly high!
Great visuals, character looks squishy and funny. The only problem is the inertion of character - I need to hold move keys to move in air, otherwise I just fall down, even after these wind particles, it makes platforming hard, but i liked it, makes sorta of a challenge
Moving in this game feels good and satisfying. Unfortunately I'm really bad at platformers and I could not get over those yellow jumping balls. But the game is really cute, loved the environment and the little cave man. Congrats!!
Oh, I also loved the 2D clouds when the player dies. I love a good mixture of 2D and 3D anytime.
Great art with a cute little guy! The game is good. Since it is a platformer, I think it could be helpful to give the player more in-air control.
好难啊qwq
@penguinmunch Thank you for the feedback, I will keep this in mind
@ice-in-nortern Thank you for the playing, I've gotten a lot of feedback that I think I made the platforming a little more difficult than I would have liked)
Loved it! The character is absolutely adorable, and I enjoyed the platforming a lot. I think my favorite part was the first section with the orange bubbles. It required a bit of finesse to aim your jumps with the weighty air control, and it was really satisfying when I finally nailed it. On the other hand, I did struggle a bit with the wind pushers. It might be a skill issue, but I was struggling to find a way to consistently get the launch I needed to make the jumps. I ended up just throwing myself at it until I got through that section by pure luck. Still, really excellent 3D platformer!
@sleepyfikou Thank you so much for your feedback. Actually, the last part was done late at night when I was really tired, so it might be a little annoying. If you are interested, you can subscribe to itch io, I plan to develop the game, I liked it myself
Love to see a 3D platformer in a game jam! I don't see them very often, as they're tricky to make. You did a pretty good job here - the graphics are on point, except for the death particles, whose cartoonish/outlined style clashed heavily with the rest of the game. I enjoyed the relaxing music to accompany the graphics. The gameplay was alright, especially for a game jam project, but the lacking air control made the later parts of the game quite frustrating to play. The slightly unintuitive behavior of the yellow spheres (spheres are an irritating surface to bounce accurately off of) and wind (it seemed you get much more momentum when entering the wind higher up, which didn't make too much sense to me) didn't help. The camera angle is also pretty unusual for this kind of game, and made depth perception even harder than usual. I did at least manage to make it to the end, I think? I found a second copy of the player, but nothing special happened to signify that the game was over. I couldn't find anywhere else to go, though, so I guess I did it!
@python-b5 Yeah, it was the end. Thank you for the playing, your comments are absolutely correct, I'll try to correct them later
This little robot-like character is very interesting, but I don't feel very used to it when jumping, but it is also very creative! I also invite you to experience my game ^-^
Very nice game, simple mechanics and got the most out of UE which elevated the game. When respawning to the checkpoint it would keep the characters rotation which when it first happened I thought I was somewhere else. Would like to see this game fully developed and released on steam
@kielant Thank you! You can subscribe to my itch.io page because I plan to develop this game fully. I want to implement more complex mechanics.
Like this art and gameplay - 5 ratings!!!! Check my game too comrade!!!
Very cute! The *little* noise that the *Little* Caveman makes upon death never failed to cheer me up after a lost attempt at a platforming section. As for the visuals, I'd say that purple was a good choice of primary colour on your part, as it gives the game a very laid back, relaxed tone.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get past the second stage with the yellow bouncy orbs, even though I tried my best, which was a bit of a bummer. I sort of wish that the first few parts weren't as demanding, and instead scaled up in difficulty, to help the player get acclimated with the character's movement.
Perhaps it could have also used some thingies to collect, as is customary for 3D platformers? Regardless, solid work!
@clink Thank you for the meaningful feedback! You're absolutely right — camera positioning and air control were issues that made platforming too difficult and uncomfortable. I'm currently improving the game and fully plan to develop it further. If you're interested, you can subscribe to my itch.io page)
The character is really cute, the level design is really nice too (well explained) but I was blocked in some plateforms.:c
This game is super hard. I tried a lot, but in the end, I wasn’t able to finish. Still, I really like the creativity behind the protagonist and the environment. The pink bubble’s hitbox can be a bit tricky to figure out, it took me some time to get used to it. But it’s still a cool little platformer. Well done!
Funny jelly creature, nice atmosphere, relaxing music. Minus of course that platforming is really hard, I almost dropped the game, provided that I played in 0.0.2 version, but in the end handled.
This was so fun and so difficult. I really enjoyed playing this. Every time I died I just wanted to play one more time. Get a little bit further. The death sound is so funny that I never felt frustrated after dying. Well done on the entry.
@roitchie Thank you! If you're interested in this game, you can subscribe to my itch.io page! Right now, I'm developing the full version of the game, and my goal is to develop it as soon as possible—it's a challenge for me!
Nice little cute game, a bit hard for me, I didn't pass the bubbles
A funny and cute platformer. It reminded me a bit of cs slide
