This is fun. I always liked the minigame from Opus Magnum. The light brown pieces are a little bit hard to see next to the white empty spaces.

Very neat concept for a puzzle game! Although I'm honestly impressed by the amount of little UI/UX issues I blundered into :grimacing: - The font buttons having their detection mapped to their font area and not a bounding box - No real feedback, I would've settled for one level just for a negative/positive SFX - Confusing tutorial language, I'd replace "contiguous" with "adjacent" and provide a visual of a valid hex to select vs an invalid one(check out a few board game rulebooks for examples of this) - Tile matches shouldn't be in another menu that can't be played alongside the game - Not UI/UX per-se, but cutting the tile amount in half would really help. Again, it's a neat concept and I hope to see you improve in the future

This looks good.

COOL ART!

Cool match-two game, unfortunately a bit confusing in what matches (having the "help" logo in the same screen as the hexagon would help!), sometimes nothing happened when I clicked the help button which was a bit frustrating, and it was hard to tell sometimes what was actually selected (e.g. if you clicked on one tile and then a second one that didn't match the first, you now had the second selected instead of the first, would have preferred if the first one remained selected instead). Fairly minor issues all things considered and the core game was good!

I was a bit confused at the start but it is a nice matching game! And as someone else said the brown pieces that match with a lot of stuff are a bit hard to see

It took me a while, but I made it to the end! It's a really cool idea for a puzzle game. Even thought it was a bit confusing at first, the help panel was clear enough (I spent too much time thinking that the saw was broken because I couldn't match 2 of them together, but in the end it made sense.

It should be explained somewhere that you have to pick the chair last. Or is it a bug - it looked like if I pick the chair and the level is not clear, its clears the chair, but seems to wait for a second tile to match with - but there are none.

It would have been awesome with some music and sound effects :)

Good job!

Nice puzzle game, not sure I understood the rules initially but I got after playing for a bit. Wasn't quite clear whether there was a progression or the levels were all randomised and so I just play until I feel like stopping.

It's nice that I did not even have to check the tutorial to understand how to play! Win-win for me as I am usually stupid in such situations.

I'd love to hear the music while I'm solving the puzzle, sad you did not have the opportunity to add that!

superklever 2023-05-03 08:09

@rolly Thanks for the feedback. According to the idea, the parts of the chair were supposed to open gradually from 1 leg to the whole chair, but I didn't have time to do it :(

beebster-games 2023-05-03 20:51

Yeah, the chair was hard to see at the bottom of the screen. It was a fun game, wish I had more time to spend on it.

Thanks for the play

Well done on creating an enjoyable and fun puzzle game. The neat concept, cool art, and clear instructions made it easy to understand and play without needing to check the tutorial. The gradual progression of levels was great, and I appreciated the potential for improvement and development in the future. Overall, good job and thanks for the play!

Nice implementation of Sigmar's Garden. Some of the symbols could use more contrast, the salts in particular blended in with the background. The selection outlines were also very hard to see. I know the original game does not do this, but partially greying out all marbles except the ones that can match with your current selection could help make the game easier to learn.

Nice and simple concept. The audio is missing a lot. It's nice to have cool environment but I would have prioritized sounds and visuals feedback. Other than that I play a few levels and it was nice to play, not very hard (at the beginning anyway).

sempra 2023-05-11 16:15

The concept was fun, and i liked the integration to fit the theme x)

It's always hard in a jam, but we can imagine that with some more feedbacks to be even better. (also i suck at marbles games but that doesn't depends on your work XD)

The visuals in this game possess a distinct and recognizable style, reflecting the developer's unique artistic vision
