Nice submission! Dig the theme, simple controls, and straightforward gameplay. I'd have liked some kind of indication where seagulls that were successfully eating actually were, and some way to accelerate the end of the game when there are only a handful of turtles left and they're all as far away from the shore as possible. But the sound effects were great and same with the turtles reaching the water. The first time I played, the message I got at the end seemed to think I did quite a poor job, so I had to go back and play again for redemption. And then one final time to get my foot score up as high as possible. That's the goal of the game, right?

The distressed honk from the birds was really what hooked me. Get away from my babies - they wanna swim! I like this game for its simplicity and silliness. Would also play as the bird because some of the turtles really don't want to live anyway.

i love your take on the theme tiny creatures, and the gameplay is interesting. i did think the turtles were see weeds in the beginning and stepped onto them by accident TAT

Very interesting take! I think it's cute that the birds were by your kids. Got very sad when I first stepped on a small turtle.

This is a really creative and unique choice of game to go with the theme. It feels very personal too, with how specific some of the fail conditions are and how it's just near impossible to do it perfectly.

非常有趣的选题，这些小海龟在地面上爬的很慢，但是一旦到了水面上就会像火箭一样发射出去。不过很多时候我不知道自己到底有没有在引导海龟，还是说海龟有自己的想法。我还发现自己会踩死海龟，哪怕我其实是站着不动，是海龟自己爬到我的脚下。This is a very interesting theme. These little turtles crawl slowly on the ground, but once they reach the water surface, they launch themselves like rockets. However, many times I'm not sure if I'm actually guiding the turtles, or if they have their own minds. I also found myself accidentally stepping on and killing the turtles, even when I'm standing still and it's the turtles themselves crawling under my feet.

Love the concept and the audio. Certainly the game that got the most laughs from me. Wish there was more urgency or just a faster pace in general, since for a good while you're just waiting for the turtles to follow your light. Stepped on way too many turtles accidentally, which was a great addition.

I think increasing the movement speed of the turtles and the size of the flashlight would make the game a lot more engaging. The idea is cool and the mechanics are interesting but the pace is just way too slow.

If the turtles were moving quickly and erratically over the sand it would add to the challenge as you try to guide them while trying not to step on them and scaring away the birds.

Oh, I stepped on a bunch of turtles the first time around thinking I was collecting them. I thought the sound effects were funny, especially the sound of the seagull eating a turtle.

@skleembof I'm getting a lot of comments about the speed. I'll try upping it after the jam judging is over. I was thinking it was incentivizing people to try to turn as many turtles as they could early on to keep from having to go all the way to the back of the beach later on, but maybe the birds I put back there are incentive enough.

I can see the idea of this game though, I could shoo birds and lead turtles. I wish the game would play faster and there were radar so I could find birds to shoo.

Well, the game itself is not bad, but I really wish there was more explanation. Is the lighting guiding the turtles? When I first walked onto a turtle I thought I was killing it, then I thought maybe I was putting it into my pocket to save it. When I did that for the 70 turtles and saw the message "Rescue Completed", I genuinely thought that was what I had to do. It's just by seeing other comments that I got my mistake. =(

About the game itslef, the goal is simple, the execution is not, so that's cool. Sounds effects are cute as well as the character :)

Sound effects were hilarious, and loved the visuals of the turtles pinging away once they reach the water.

Good and unique idea, although the mood got a bit dark. Now I have a new hatred for seagulls (and for stupid slow turtles).
