Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)

You need to put up a little bit of explanation. So far it works mostly fine, albeit a bit sluggish (web, yay)
It feels a bit buggy; I could refill the generator once, but then the next refill is not possible. A refill info appears on the valve and I can't get anymore gas. How do I shelter against the rain?
It's an interesting approach, would love to see it smoother and the gameplay fleshed out!

Edit: Was able to play by turning security features off
The fuel points broke every time after use. It also seems impossible to get enough wood fast enough before the first rain.

There are some good bones here, but not much seems like it really works. The gas canister fills at an obscenely slow rate, and the nozzles become immediately unusable after you use them (even if you only fill the can a little bit). I didn't really know what to do with the axe/trees, and then I guess at some point I failed the game without realizing it because eventually I came back and the screen state was failed?? Very cool how fleshed out the visuals looked, and the diegetic start screen is a very nice touch, but definitely could have spent some more time fleshing out the core mechanics of the game.
The gameplay isn't bad, but it is brutally difficult. It seems cutting down the trees only give me 1 plank each, so I assume I need to get near 40 to protect the pc from the rain. In the game's current state, I'm not sure if that is doable. Like others mentioned, I also wasn't able to refill my canister at the same rock upon using it. I see a lot of promise in this game though, and would like to revisit it. I do wanna finish by saying that this is very impressive as a compo entry, and I hope you continue refining it.

This game was awesome! Simple idea but well executed and quite well balanced with a good level of difficulty. I had to play it a few times to pick it up, but eventually figured it out and managed to get to the end. It was tense having to wait for the taps to refuel at the end and hoping the generator didn't run out of fuel :)
As others have mentioned it's not immediately obvious how to play so you might want to add some instructions.
The game was a bit slow at times on my computer, but it's 7 years old now so maybe I just need a new one. Also I'm not sure that Unity counts as HTML5 :)
Nice idea but execution could be better. Gathering the materials needed was very difficult. The cannister fills very slowly and you only get one plank out of each tree when you need 40 to make a roof. Having an icon appear when the generator was running low was a nice touch.
neat concept. the visual style has rust/gmod vibes. cool diagetic server screen, you might (or might not) want to carry this over to the other resources in the game, e.g. the planks and fuel canisters. how the canisters are filled was a bit unintuitive for me at first since I conflated the "recharge" (might want to use another word here) percentage with the progress of filling the canister. the core gameplay loop felt a bit like a chore since I didn't feel like I had to make any risky choices or balance any major tradeoffs. but I had fun! good work.

Woah, how did you do that custom loading screen? Gotta play the game later, only have my old laptop right now and I couldn't find any graphics options and it doesn't run great.

@sharks More or less (mostly less) like [here](https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/webgl-templates.html), then some css, js and html.
Change: When the fuel canister is taken and the E key is held down, the status of the fuel source will no longer be displayed.

This was really fun! I do want to talk to whomever thought it'd be a good idea to keep their servers outside, though.

I was pretty impressed by the graphics, but standing in front of a valve staring at a rock to fill a canister is obscenely boring.
Nicely done, great feel going into the game a little more polish needed on the game mechanics itself.
It seems a lot of people have got confused with the fuel sources recharging. So maybe that could have been presented a little better. But for the time frame the game looks really great.
A little more optimizing on the game mechanics and this would have been a lot more enjoyable.

An interesting idea! It has a few quirks and bugs, but overall I liked it.
It might be a good idea to somehow show the player that their canister is filled. For the first couple of tries i thought the "fuel source recharging" was the progress of my canister filling, so I just stood there and waited for it to fill (up to whole 5%, I'm not a patient man :) ).
Do the planks placed on the roof disappear when it rains? I've placed about 6-7 planks on the roof, went to get some more. When I was cutting more trees, it rained for a short while. When I returned to build more planks, I had to start all over again, like they've all disappeared.
Gathering only one plank from a tree seems overly limiting. It stretches out the game unnecessarily. Also, since you can carry a lot of planks at the same time, it doesn't really add anything to the difficulty, since you can cut all the trees you want and then place all the boards when you have enough of them.
Speaking of tree cutting, when you do that the game slows down a lot. Are you spawning the planks when a tree is cut down? It might be a good idea to have them pre-spawned, but disabled until needed.
Overall it's a nice entry. I haven't managed to finish it yet, but I'm going to try a few more times. I'm enjoying playing it. ;)
