I really liked the artstyle of the game, it was like a painting. The gameplay was smooth, although a bit too simplistic. Overall, good job.
Short but cute ^^
The gameplay is actually pretty basic and would be boring if the game was any longer (and it is already very short even for something cooked up during a game jam). That being said, I think the storybook-looking artwork and the dreamy audio makes this worth while. Short game, lasting impression ^^
Gorgeous graphics and overall feeling, though I am not completely sure on what the aim is - on one try I lost my egg and the game just re-started, on another try I kicked the egg away right at the start and I kept on sliding down (missing the igloo)... maybe a little more storytelling would be nice :)
I like the art and the innocent vibe of this. There are several gameplay issues that you're probably aware of: - you can drop the egg without triggering a failure - getting hit with a rock doesn't trigger a fail without the egg (allows an endless play session with no way to win) - no apparent win condition - you can get stuck under a rock at the bottom of the screen with no way to move around it
I really enjoyed playing at this game, and a big thumbs up for the visuals
Very cool little game. If I was you I would continue working on this game even after this jam. The game is still not very polished and there are some bugs, + Is not very balanced
I love snow-based games, and this one is no exception. The premise to have to keep your eggs is also really cute, and is well supported by the colored graphics and the fun soundtrack.
Strenghts : - Nice visual/audio package - Fun egg mechanic
Possible improvements : - As other users mentioned, there are a number of bugs affecting core gameplay (egg-dropping, ...)
All in all, great job !
Love the color palette! The moment when you start sliding and the music starts is magic, very powerful. Could have used for some variation in gameplay, but the mood is very nice!

I love the art! Very chill and the music fits nicely. The gameplay is a bit simplistic and there seems to be a bug where you can push the egg off the cliff and then have a normal run. I also think it would be interesting if you had a chance to grab the egg after being hit by a snowball. All in all, I liked the mood a lot but I think the gameplay could use some improvement.

I didn't get how to win or lose the game. I think this is because of the next game bug: I went to the edge as a penguin rolling the egg. Then I dropped the egg while the penguin continues staying on top. Then I start to slip. And here it is - No egg on the screen. The penguin couldn't be damaged by rocks. So the penguin just slipping down.

@tari Lol, I did the same :D On my first try I just kicked the egg down immediately and eventually passed the igloo and the game ended, and on my second try I just went down with the egg and eventually something happened and I lost the egg.
I don't quite know what you're supposed to do in this game.
Hey, the game is so beautiful, I really like the texture and colours of the background. Gameplay wise the game is a bit shallow, it is possible to go to the top and don't press any key (not rocks or snowballs spawn at that height) and drift to the igloo at the last second, making the game quite easy. Also, even when it's a nice touch to take and drop the egg, there isn't really a reason to do it. The first time I just pushed the egg to the ramp, and i didn't know that I lost (or why) until I reached the igloo, I had to read the description to understand there was an extra key to grab the egg. The music is soothing the atmosphere and was a pleasant easy experience, keep working!
I loved graphics and the mood of this game! It's a really nice game with maybe a litttle too short gameplay!^^
