The post processing and minimalistic visuals are really nice. I have a few small suggestions. First, get some pictures of your game! nobody will see it or know what they are downloading if there are no images. Use the snipping tool on windows and just take screenshots of play mode in your game engine editor. Second, this game is ridiculously hard. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but the enemy spawns maybe 30 projectiles a second. I could only pass the first two levels. My player also moves very slowly. Try speeding up the player, giving the enemies more health, and making them attack slower and less. Overall, good visuals and sound, a little too difficult.

Thanks @zachary-shah. I totally agree with all of said. I was going to add pictures today anyway, yesterday I had no time, as for the enemies, I didn’t realise I made it hard, I’ll keep it in mind next time!

I like the game. You handled the theme very well, and the minimalist style ties the game together. The game gives a some what mysterious vibe with the color palette and the simple shapes.

Great job overall Chicken <3

Looks really nice even with the minimalistic graphics (doing a lot with a little). Since the enemy shots are random (and kinda too fast to react too) it feels like it mostly comes down to luck if you make it or not. Slowing the enemy shots and speeding up the player might be an idea if you want to keep the random shot direction.

@silkworm-sweatshop Yes, now that I think of it, I did in-fact make the enemies a bit too fast. I'll definitely keep this in mind next time.

the game looks nice. I agree with what the others have said, the game feels very luck based, slower bullets or some kind of pattern would have been nicer.

@cymansap I agree, but the whole point of the game is that it's random. But yeah, I see what you mean.

You seriously made a game this polished and *juicy* in one Compo when you've never used Unity? Consider me impressed! All I've ever managed to accomplish in Unity is crash the editor (though that's such an extremely typical thing to happen to the point where I played a game about Unity's instability). My only complaint about the game is that it's too short, this game has too much potential to not have a post-Compo update!
