Hey
Great job!
Looks really really nice :thumbsup_tone1:
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Enjoyed this different take on a tower defense. Having time be the goal makes it less stressful than a standard TD. I wish placing towers/spikes/etc was more intuitive, and that spikes automatically deployed.
Very polished audio and graphics, nice job
This looks really cool
A very clean game with very intuitive gameplay. My only complaint is that my poor laptop couldn't run it with a higher framerate, but that's on me. Overall very nice!
Aesthetics look clean and the music keeps the players really engaged. Game idea is also really creative given the theme. Great job!
Fun game, pushing bad drivers off a cliff is very satisfying
This is great! everyone on this project should be very proud of what has been accomplished in so little time. I think some user feedback needs a little bit of tweaking, but otherwise very well done. Also some of the UI needs some polishing, but hey the gameplay is what's important.
I love this! its a very unique idea
Pretty fun and very polished. This has a lot of potential for a mobile game I think but you would need to figure out how to add another layer of gameplay. It didn't seem like there was any strategy to placing the traps since the cars eventually loop around and can't avoid them. The strategy was waiting to press the start button so that the cars are close to the traps from the beginning.
Really fun game! I played all the levels and got gold on most of them. It feels very polished overall, even though there were a few forgivable bugs (one I remember is a yellow car fell off the track but didn't die). The graphics are great and the mood is good. I just wish there was some element that added a little bit more challenge, or maybe a sense of level progression. The medals do provide some nice incentive but I wanted just a little bit more. This could be the start of a commercial game, I think.
The one feature I found myself really wanting over and over again was the ability to replay the level from the point after I placed the traps, because I usually didn't change their position if I was just fractions of a second from gold.
Great job!
The visuals and feel are very satisfying, but it feels like there isnt much strategy involved in placing towers and traps - it makes little difference where i place them. Consider ways to make player choices feel more impactful. Other than that, great effort in this short timeframe.
Really well made. Can't stop trying over and over again :D
This is the most polished game I came across so far. The graphics are really nice, the audio fits perfectly and the gameplay is simple but very addictive. Great job!
It's the rare LD submission that includes a level editor! I liked the interpretation of the theme, even if I couldn't get those dang spikes to work. The wind powers were fun as well.
Level editor! Bad drivers! What more could you ask for?!
This is great. Really nicely polished and an interesting idea. I would love to see this developed more with more towers and vehicles types. My one complaint is that sometimes the screen shake felt a bit too strong.
The effects are really nice. Great take on a looping tower defence.
The effects are really nice, you made a impressive polished game. Please add some different Tower and Traps. Spezial Air defence, or moving Laser barriers which bring the drivers close to the edge. Makes a lot of fun, great job
It's incredible that you finished this game in only 72 hours! I love this spin on a TD game, and I really enjoyed it. A couple things though, the WebGL version runs poorly on my laptop with 16 gb of ram. When I downloaded it, I got stuck on the loading screen so I wasn't able to fully enjoy it :/ Finally, I felt the tie to the theme was a little weak, but I saw that the cars looped around, so I guess it's there. Really great game, with some more content this could be a really great game, great job with the models if you made those as well. Feel free to rate my submission :)
It's pretty and fun. It need some work on the gameplay.
Yes! Now this is _game_. So much fun destroying everything - played lots of games in the jam which punish this behaviour - but you all have it right. And the music brings up the energy even more. Good job all around.
BTW WebGL seems to run much better when not in fullscreen.
At the beginning, I did'nt see that I could place some traps and the second level seemed impossible. I guess some little UI improvement could make the checkbock more visible?
Except for that minor thing, it was quite fun. The music works well with this kind of game. That's a very good job for a 72h jam.
I think that an UI showing how the game works (what are the controllers and what are your options in the game) would be a good idea. I took some time to understand how to play it, but after that I liked a lot.
It's a bummer to start with a bad thing, but at first I couldn't figure out how to place anything on the grid and it didn't help a whole lot that when you click on the placeable objects it just ticks the circle like you are going through some sort of a checklist.
But yeah, after I finally figured the controls out I had a pretty fun time blasting everything into pieces. I didn't find it all that engaging to chase the time limits for the medals, so I played it more like a sandbox game trying to beat the level with only spikes or with only a force push or even competing with my own turrets on who will be the fastest: me pushing the cars off or the turrets exploding them. It also seems like there are a whole lot of really similar levels that has no meaningful difference between them, but yeah it's quite difficult to make a jam game be content rich.
Overall it's a really neat idea with quite a beautiful visual presentation. I found it at it's best when it's played like a sandbox, but right now it has too few toys in it to keep the player engaged for all the levels you have created.
Hey very neat game,
Unfortunately it was confusing at the start because I didn't know how to place the objects. A tutorial or a few lines of text would of helped a lot.
The game play is fun and it's super cool to smash the cars into each other, off the road, and into oblivion.
Cool idea!
I was not expecting to see a tower defense with cars  And was not expecting to see a built-in level editor. Great Job!
Here is my playtest: https://youtu.be/SZpYIYDWAJg
nice entry! also was confused about placing the towers. neat game though. Like that song you used. loved the car physics
This game is super pretty, I love the particle effects! It was little visually hard to read due to the fog, but it was super fun to bump cars off the road >:)
OMG this game is so cute!!!! It's very polished and funny, even though I an not really a fan of tower defender I still have a good time with it. Especially the music which really construct a feeling of crowded city and relaxing! Good Job!
Had a great time with this. Music is phenomenal. Visually looks great. Only suggestion would be that the level select menu (particularly the font) is kind of an eye sore compared to the rest of the game and could use some polish.
Lovelly art style and music ! It was really fun to play
sick! its super satisfying pushing the cars off the road
Can't believe you guys squeezed a level editor into this lol, though I guess it probably helped a lot with development once it was in place.
A TD with cars is a great pitch, surprised I haven't seen that concept before in retrospect. The cars are really satisfying to kill, since it gives off that Ding! on success. The wind mechanic is especially fun when you can send a whole train of cars off to their doom.
One thing about the game is that progression isn't too satisfying. I know it's the time limit of a jam, but after playing a few levels, I just skipped to the last level because I was just using the same skill set and knowledge every time.
The base of the game is solid though, and has a lot of potential paths for it to go in. You have a great presentation on top of everything as well, which makes this really attractive and giffable.
Lovely art.
Good job here! Really solid base. I wish there was some way to see my previous scores recorded somewhere though. Also, when the rounds and goal times are so short I never really found any reason to take time to use the spikes rather than blowing them off the level.
Really nice entry and the fact that you have a level editor is just beyond believe! Great job
Great entry! I really like the game, unfortunately one car does not get destroyed properly and I had to restart! Still really amazing and thanks for the webgl build!
