started the 'game' and after about 15 minutes... still was just playing the digging animation. not quite sure were the game play is.
I like the seed! It is really cute. But I just can't wait to see the flower. If player have to wait for a long time to see the final flower, it need more to attract player's interest. It's more like a tool to help users to focus on working or other things.
Just like the real world, takes forever to grow something, would be nice to have a fast forward, haha =P. Nice visuals though
This is not a game for people without patience, thats for sure. On my right monitor the seed tries to digg through the earth core, it seems. :) I like the idea and the graphics. Lets see if i get a flower.
I can see from your printscreens that you couldn't stand the continuous "ouuuh" either x). Too bad, I'd like to apreciate the music which seems to be nice. I will let the game go for a few hours and come back to rate then.
Nice game, though when the flower was growing there was sounds that sounds like a drill, it can be a little annoying after a bit, Also it seems like you have to keep the page up to continue progress. Idk, that seemed a tiny bit odd. The music was amazing and I love the cute art style! Your interpretation of the theme was amazing becuase you started with nothing a but a seed, your patience gets rewarded by a flower! This game is so cute!
This is the cutest game I played so far during this jam
The fun thing about game jams is having no idea whether something is broken or if you just need to keep waiting. It has been 42 years since I first planted my seed. All of my friends and family are dead now, this seed and the hope that it might one day become a flower is all I have left.
This is a bold thing to make, and it has the charm to carry it. Good job.
I was actually looking forward to this game when I first saw a post about it. It carries a relaxing charm along with it, and even though it differs from most of the other games in this jam, I think it will be memorable. I love the graphics so much, and it fits with the concept of the game. Perhaps from a gameplay perspective, more interactivity is desired, but I think the concept fits with the mechanics.
Hey, I love your idea and I've been looking for a little fun or cute window game to keep open while I do other things! I want more things like this, it's super cute, and grows much faster than all my other plants x) Reminds me of the old Windows overlay games where you kept a virtual pet
Also, it's a lot of fun to come back to it after like 15 minutes, unmute it and hear it's still screaming xD
I really want to see my flower, but my seed doesnt grow. And now I'm a sad man
i will make some dinner now while i wait my plant ...

music guy does not want to be muted
This was the perfect game to come across as I left to have some tea and dessert after dinner. I have a soft spot for games like these where you can leave for a while and come back with results (like the zen garden in Plants vs. Zombies haha). It also helps that the game is super cute, and seeing the pictures of these adorable flowers made me wonder exactly which kind I was going to get. Overall, I enjoyed it. Not saying I could play these types of games too often, but every once in a while, it's nice to see something like this.
The audio was quite something. I think I heard a super high pitched voice cut through the music, if ever so subtly. It was kind of grating, and I'm not really sure if that's intentional. Looking at these previous comments, if it's supposed to be screaming, that's actually kind of terrifying. But that aside, the track that plays during the game is also happy and it makes me feel happy, too. I like the subtle voices - at least I think there were subtle vocals aside from the super high pitched one. I almost felt bad for turning off the music for a bit because the music note looked so sad under the :no_entry_sign: .
So yeah, the game did what it was supposed to do and I was glad to see my flower grow after I left my computer for a while. Nice job.

thinks going slow in here =)
This is really sweet and boy, oh, boy, are graphics and audio stunning!
I think a note that the game pauses if you switch tabs or minimize the window would be welcome.
This was super cute!! Neat concept, although ultimately it's more of a toy than a game. The graphics and sound were perfect, and the fact that flowers could be saved and loaded is a nice addition. Maybe expanse-wise an entire garden within the game would be fun? It's a shame a lot of the assets are wasted by being encouraged to walk away and not participate.
Also, the fact that it doesn't run in the background is a real damper, given that it's sort of the point of the game.
Still though, adorable!
I thought when someone was mentioned the lack of interactivity, they just weren't into idle games. Nope, I believe I had 2 interactions with this game. Clicking a seed and naming a flower. And now I'm sad to find I can only plant one flower in a game session. I don't feel like I'd be nearly as bothered, but the art and music are fantastic. It's a waste to not have these assets used more.
It's bold, and has great art, but I ended up thinking the game was excessively long since I muted it and tabbed away, thinking I'd come back to a grown flower.
The art is absolutely adorable, but the time to grow the seed is too long and the whiny noise the seed makes was distracting -- I think a chill music would have been nice, and something to do to speed it up like an idle clicker game.
It's a video-game equivalent of a real-world flower... It's pretty but it doesn't do much ! At least we can test your game and other games at the same time, thanks for that haha :)
I had this opened for what feels like a couple of hours and it still screams at me, throwing dirt all around. 10 absurdly long opening cinematics out of 10 :D
Someone is peaking!

The artstyle and sfx are great but there's not much to play. Anyway good job!
This is amazing! nothing more, nothing less! Amazing. Thank you real_time_gardener.png
