I like your take on the "firekeeper" version. It's probably by intent, but would've liked the character to move a bit faster.

Great atmosphere. The text bubbles was a nice touch that did a lot to the overall character of the game.

Really nice atmosphere ! I feel like the sound clip you used doesn't match the mood of the game tho (it's kind of 8-bit ish, I would have prefered something more organic).

Yeah, I ran out of time and didn't have the time to add any background/ambient music to add to the effect. All I had time to do was add 3 Bfxr "beeps". :D

I had an idea for adding many more gameplay mechanics, but as I realised I wouldn't have the time to implement them I just had to heartlessly cut them out. I barely had the time to draw and animate the character and I even forgot to add the lantern to his hand. :D

The mood is definitely the strong point of this game, only sound is missing. Faster move speed would be nice, this is just agonizing to watch :smile:
