Wow! Amazing art and animations! Plus it is verry cool puzzle game! Would love to play more levels!
Really neat graphics and cool idea overall, good job!
Really like the man made sfx!
Really cool. Maybe more levels or the first one a bit easier to learn the mechanics first (I didn't realize I can jump on boxes for like 2 min.). Overall pretty good job! Loved the sound effects.
great game! loved the sound effects! I played like 10 times! I would love to play more levels!!
Ha! Your game is totally hilarious, too! I love it
Awesome! The artwork, sprites and animation are on point. The controls and collision detection are a paint though. Running, jumping and stuff feel really sluggish and I got stuck in the ventilation a couple of times. Other than that, a great little puzzle platformer. Good job!
Love the puzzle design! The physics is a bit buggy and that held it back a bit - I think with some more work this would be a really great game :)
ok das ist sick
very polished game!
Very fun game! Doesn't really fit with the theme but I think it's still good. Only bug I was able to find is in the first level, if you manage to get killed by the laser and the bullet at the same time, it kills two guys.
Anyways I had a lot of fun, most fun game I've played yet. :)
Love the graphics. Game is cool. I like the sacrifice gameplay even if i don't like to die D: !
The graphics and sound are sweeeeet! I can tell you guys had fun making this :D
I really loved the charadesigns ! It was a bit hard at first to understand what i had to do, but it was a really clever idea ! Good job.
Sound effects are so amazing, and graphics are great too! A really fun concept for a game.
Really nice idea and i love the graphic and the mouth bruitage xD
Awesome job with the idea for the theme. The game is really fun. Nice job!
Nice game ! And god, this is hard for me xD !
Really nice idea and puzzle and cool pixel art. Controls / physics were a bit frustrating but considering the short time it's pretty good.
I was stuck on the start screen a bit as well, it took me time to realise it was the pause screen , pressing escape to start playing is not really intuitive imo.
Cool entry overall !
The game looks great! It has a style and it sticks to it. Traps were creative and the puzzles were self explanatory. The jump/physics were off so it didn't feel great to play, but the concept is still a good one. Also, didn't see the theme represented in this one. The lives were just lives.
Thank you for all your great feedback! As many of you already claimed, the player controlls are a bit laggy, this is due to time issues in the final phase. in case we develope the game further, a lot of focus will be on that. some mentioned, that the theme was not represented properly - our approach was the trade of lives for success --> life is currency. Thank you all again and i hope you enjoy playing as much as we did developing!
Good idea and realization. I like you art and gameplay
Really good, i would love to see it as a finished game
I loved the art of your game!!! There were some bugs but thats ok for a game jam, i really think tho that the character movement could be improved, and that there should be more feedback, so you know what you should do, bigger buttons with brighter colors, I would prefer better ingame feedback than a complex initial tutorial. Nice entry, keep working on it <3
This had really nice art and animations, and the concept was pretty solid. I had some serious issues with the controls though, they were very unresponsive and I continually found myself getting stuck on objects that I don't think I should have been getting stuck on, as well as the jump being very inconsistent and didn't seem to register most of the time I pressed the button. I think this was meant to be a puzzle platformer, but the speed at which you moved made me think I had to race through the level which led to me dying frequently and not understanding why at first. A few more hours of polish to the controls and level design and you would have a pretty decent game. Really good job on the art style though, my first reaction to your screenshot was 'woah that looks cool' which doesn't always happen with jam games. Well done.
Great art and sounds! Love it! The movement was sometimes bit tricky and I didn't quite see the theme. But overall great idea for a puzzle with nice time pressure (moving captain) Would love to see some more :) Good job!
Interesting idea, and really fantastic art
Cool pixel art characters ! Neat but cruel concept ! x) Great job ! Congratulations !
The art and the music are excellent. The sfx is maybe not the most fitting but it's funny. The concept is smart and funny, and it's also a good take on the theme. The only drawback is the slightly buggy mechanics (including the Captain suddenly becoming the Flash when climbing stairs) and the level design that could be a bit improved. A death animation for the Captain could be nice too.
Overall a very solid entry, well done !
Great idea and use of the theme, love the artwork!
great work! wow
Nice game and an innovative approach to gameplay.
Liked the art style, and gameplay is smooth. Nicely built puzzle-type levels too: I got caught off guard by traps etc a bunch of times. I like how the collisions are "dynamic": Kinda just works with whatever you're trying to do.
Loved the art and the puzzle. As for improvements, there were few physics related issues I faced, like sticking to walls (physics material having friction maybe ?) and getting stuck in the upper tunnel making it difficult to get in. Also, it would be nice to have a feedback on when the captain dies, like shifting the camera's focus to the captain when he dies to know what killed him or something like that. Great entry overall.
Good idea, maybe its asking for scale to few more levels. Jump control in HTML5 was a little bit clumsy for me. Anway, great job!
Nice game, the sounds effects and the graphics are cool!
Really novel, turning an escort mission (usually one of the most vile kinds of missions in games) into an actual puzzle game that's pretty enjoyable. I agree with what others had said that there's definitely some polish that needs to be applied (physics, making the trap triggers a bit more obvious, maybe some sort of indicator or camera view of where the boss is, etc), but this is one of those rare occasions where the core idea is *so* good that it kind of makes up with some of the implementation faults.
Awesome entry with amazing graphics.
The sfx are funny but there's there's a lack of footsteps, some positional sound (stereo pan and volume) to assist the user with the position of the boss while offscreen, some ambience sfx to bring the user to within the scenaro and a music to dict the rythm of the game.
The puzzles are awesome and well designed accross the level! good job!
