hard
Nice game, beautiful graphics/animations. Would be nice to have an additional mode with a fixed seed, to master your run. Good work.
Very engaging game! Always out of time, and the music is super addictive.
Hi Jindro, this is a very cool concept for Ludum Jam, short, fast, repeatable. Perfect combination. It is VERY hard though for my taste, but I'm a noob for these kind of games in general, so I will not rate the difficulty itself. The design is very good, the movement is smooth and responsive. The upgrades are a fun addition. Graphics and music are AMAZING.
As I said I will not rate the difficulty, but in my subjective opinion, I would be happier if there were more chips to collect, because I think my top score was something like 120 and it was only because I had an upgrade "ADD 100 points" hahaha.
I'm seriously curious how some guy was able to push 2048 points!!!???? And you had 953, like what?
8.png Crazy hard game, maybe another way to get better upgrades would be a way to reroll them via spending points? Otherwise very cute graphics. Jump felt sometimes unresponsive when hitting a wall but could be also me :D Cool game overall
@kalbshack thanks a lot! Yeah this is actually nice idea, I might do that into a post jam version ;)
@tapot thanks a lot for playing!
@iluvatar Hi Davide :) Thanks for playing mate! As always there was no time for balancing the difficulty bit more, but I have already few ideas that I will push into a post-jam version. And I have absolutelly no idea how someone pushed so many points!! That 953 points of mine were done after about 30 minutes of grind :D
@rhewid to get 266 points with only 10 chips is super efficient! Great job and thanks for playing! Re-roll is a good point to have, but I was really time limited and I am glad that I have it this way at least :) Also I wanted to push player into constant insecurity and decision making.
Adrenaline inducing stuff. Nicely done! A bit too difficult for me :)
Interesting game. Difficult but somewhat addictive.
@mynespyro thanks a lot for saying that, I was hoping it could be little addictive at least for some players, but it is really hard task to achieve :)
@tangiblegames thank you for playing and I agree with the difficulty, unfortunatelly there was no time for some balancing :/
Fun game, choosing upgrades was pretty tough! the art style is also super pretty, and dropping all the chips you collected on death is a fun little detail! The game was really hard for me though lol, my highest was like 135 score, and most attempts lasted like 8 seconds or so xD
The time limit is sooo punishing (for me). I love the art style and the colors, and it's very rewarding when you get far enough. I love that I am a moving monitor!
A very interesting game. I have to quickly find the item; otherwise, the game will end very quickly. When most of the items are at the top at the beginning of the game, the game almost ends immediately. It's quite a challenging game, good job!
This is a really hard game! But the mechanism is interesting and I love your art style!
This was an exellent jam game - quick, fun, repeatable! It could use a little balancing because the RNG can really make or break a run. This is especially true at the beginning when your time and movement are so limited. Some runs I spent several precious seconds to get to a chip on the other side of the screen just to get +1 seconds, but things started going better after I realised only the green chips added time and the blue ones were upgrades. And good job with the thumping music as well, it really fits the mood.
Once I got the hang of the mechanics and got my run going, I could not stop and even made it to the top of the list. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

@kaba You rock mate!! THis as awesome score and to be honest I was not sure for very long time, that someone could get this high! Thank you for such a kind words and for playing my little game!!
The graphics and game feel are very well aligned. As a casual player, I'd like a bit more time to make it to the top part of the level :D But for a jam‑scale project, the balance feels appropriate to have for replayability, and with some skill growth it's definitely achievable. Great game!
This was a lot of fun, I just wish there was a bit more of a timer buffer to start with to mitigate the RNG a bit. Art is great too, overall really solid single-screen game.
Cool concept! I'd love to have a little more time to start - maybe a sliiiightly more forgiving difficulty curve. I guess pick-ups are randomised, it can be unforgiving at times
Maybe something more deterministic - where the layout of pick-ups and order they're taken matters, would be cool - for use gamers on the wrong side of 40 who don't have the sharpest senses any more haha.
Great job with the graphical style and the music. Would be cool to see some more levels unlocked. :v:
Cau! Great looking game as always, platforming and controls feels good, responsive and precise, really well done. The game is hard, yes, but balancing in a game jam is always tricky. I'd like to be able to keep at least a few upgrades to the next run :)
this is really fun! the art is fantastic, it's definitely what drew me in initially. the gameplay is simple but very fun! i think the balancing is a bit off, the start of a run is very rng dependent; either you get a lot of chips close by and they give high time rewards or you likely just die due to not being able to reach them fast enough. many of my runs died within the first 10 seconds, the ones that didnt went to 1000+ scores. my last run got to a point where i was fast enough that i could pick up chips as they spawned, so i basically couldnt lose and just let the time run out after i had enough. i also think having jump be the accept key for the choice rewards is a bit of a rough edge, you've (seemingly) softened this by adding a buffer time in which pressing jump just cancels the upgrade (it's hard to tell), but i think if you were to solve this at all it would be preferred to just add a different button to accept rewards, or just make the buffer time disable actions instead of cancelling the reward. anyway, those are just minor nitpicks. the game is a lot of fun to move around in and collect items. i think the map is well designed with several potential paths depending on what upgrades you currently have. i enjoyed it a lot, nice job! :) hhhhh.png
A very unique take on platforming, using time as a currency is interesting, and caused me to blow up a few times before I figured it out. Don't have much negative to say. I think the game could be expanded, now is a bit too simple, just not sure how. Nice work! Screenshot_156.png
Wow, I got finished so quickly XD
At the beginning, I needed to move immediately, and I just missed the second collectible. What a pity!
@torcado MAte you are incredible and huge huge thanks for giving my little game so much care :) Your score is beyond belive and I have absolutelly no idea how long and HOW you were able to do that :D Thanks!
@jiri-hysek thank you for kind words Jirko! means a lot!
