Really cool game. It gave me the "just one more day" feeling - a good thing for a game to have. The soundscape really drew me in. Graphics looked awesome. Game was paced well with escalating sacrifices... but if felt natural for the scene you've created. Had a fun time playing it.

I was upset when the guy who was going to donate a new bed died while being treated :)

shubart 2018-12-04 12:26

Really well. Great fealing. Nice background. Thank you

dino-jr 2018-12-04 12:34

Nice game, and great graphics. Congrats!!!

serge-nanovsky 2018-12-04 12:43

Triage simulator 2018! Well done! :)

kirke 2018-12-04 12:44

Your game is so brutal... I have a trauma now and I feel like a really bad person cause I let older people to sacrifice themself for younger ones... What I should do with my life now? (T.T) But you did a really good job. There is a lot of stories and a lots of graphics. Music is perfect and makes pretty depressing war atmosphere. I really like your game and your sad (but true!) interpretation of sacrifice! Well done! :D

derek-volker 2018-12-04 13:44

It really fits the jam theme, not being possible to not make sacrifices at all. I ended up not treating anybody with a reasonable recovery rate and taking it like 'Nothing personal - it's just business', so judge me. The graphics and sound fits the theme as well, as they make you feel this sad atmosphere. Good job guys!

E aí seus doido. Joguei aqui.

denifia 2018-12-04 19:23

Came back to say that I still really like your game after playing a bunch of other games. I think yous did a fantastic job on making something unique and immersive.

jungle 2018-12-04 20:50

@denifia thanks for your kind words. I feel very happy you like our game. <3

captaincorgistan 2018-12-04 21:37

Wow! It's like Valiant hearts. papers please and sheltered mix! Really nice, and immersive game!

1257th-or-nothing 2018-12-04 21:48

The theme is not really happy, and I felt the same discomfort as when playing this war of mine. Speaking gameplay, I don't really feel I'm making difficult choices : I always choose the ones with the best recovery chances. Do people with 95 recovry chance always die when I dont treat them ?

The realization is perfect however, as well as the theme. Really good work !!!

kinuni 2018-12-04 21:51

its a really nice and cool game

flcx 2018-12-04 22:04

Wow! The best game I tried so far. And it fits the team perfectly. Really liked the graphics and mechanics of balancing between available beds, med kits and chance of recovery. The only problem I have with the game is that I didn't feel that bad for letting so many people to day. Having someone come around to look for his relative that died at the waiting line, or complaining about treatment would maybe help build this feeling of guilt.

blackwen 2018-12-04 22:34

Simply impressive that it is done in 3 days. All well explained, well done graphics, sound too and a powerful mechanic that leaves you ko with the decisions. Perfectly exploited thematic. Good work :)

aortega 2018-12-04 22:48

The game works. The presentation is fine. The controls and mechanics are easy to understand. Good theme fit. Congratulations!

thiago-andre-as 2018-12-05 00:01

Eae pessoal!!! Nossa, no final vcs produziram coisa pacas!!

twenty5clocks 2018-12-05 02:02

The sound in this game is great. It really fits the mood well. The graphics and gameplay were on point as well. Nice complete game.

evogengames 2018-12-05 14:24

Hi there,

This is one of those games that deserves an all 5-star rating. Nicely done!

Some feedback: * I disliked that the you decided what was the goal 'save as many people as possible'. Because now it was all about getting that people saved number up and I disconnected with the patients. In the real world I think it is much more complicated. I think in the real world you don't disconnect with them and therefor the decisions are even harder. * People you didn't treat the day they come in per definition died in your game. It might have been even more realistic if they had a slight chance to return the next day with a major impact on their full treatment stats. * described injuries didn't really have a link with the survival rate/medical needs/days needed? * on day 2 and 3,... of a treatment you should also be able to reconsider your decision. Since numbers and estimations might have changed, and other patients with maybe better ratio's come in? So survival chances should be updated (getting lower in case of infections etc, getting higher if the treatment is working) each day. And that opens up the possibility of dismissing a patient because chances of survival vanished due to an infection for example. * There was now an indication of survival change. this is really easy to make a decision about. 80 is better then 65. Instead you could indicate a range of survival chances. For example the survival rate of A is between 50% and 60% and for B between 20% and 70%. These values might increase in accuracy the longer they are in treatment.

Just some game ideas and feedback. Again, this is a great game, fits the theme better than any game I've encountered so far. Congratulations to the team!

jungle 2018-12-05 15:54

@evogengames Thanks for your time to make a complete feedback of our game. In fact, we noticed game design failures during gameplay tests, but we're out of time to implement new features or even change some game rules, like patients "inta-death" if waiting in line. The idea of changing survival chances across the treatment days is very nice, we will keep this in mind if we take the project on in the future. Again, thanks for the feedback. We are so happy you like our entry. :v:

justalocalhero 2018-12-05 18:35

Really nice job. All the decisions feel tricky and impactful. The character portraits look great, and the background sounds are immersive. It does feel like medkits are always the limiting resource and there are always excess beds. The UI when you click on a patient feels a little bit slow to respond. I spent most of my time clicking on character so that got just a little bit frustrating.

Really nice and polished game overall.

hugonun 2018-12-05 22:47

Interesting topic for this game, wasn't expecting it. Love the realistic sounds and the decision making.

haxton2694 2018-12-06 00:31

Excellent submission - the mood and the soundscape is really immersive. I was hurting by not being able to help everyone.

ursagames 2018-12-06 04:31

Your game was played on my stream ( twitch.tv/ursagames ) for the second day of Ludum Dare streams - you can find the timestamp of your game here: https://goo.gl/N2rkr8

Good graphics and sounds, interesting gameplay, fit the theme well, and I'm depressed now.

ranner198 2018-12-14 19:30

This was a super cool game, I've noticed the choice based games have really came on strongly this year^. I enjoyed the art style as well as the music and of course the dank programming. The fact you made it a HTM5 game was really cool and quick + easy to play. Y'all really knocked it out of the park congrats!

picapica 2018-12-17 20:01

Very good use of the theme. Really felt horrible to turn people away, and seeing empty beds that couldn't be used due to lacking supplies...

elysiagriffin 2018-12-18 21:42
