Ah, someone else who did a turned-based game! I like the style, it took a little bit of clicking around so some on-screen prompts might help. Love the character designs. Some sound might've helped as well, but I also tend to leave it out (this time I barely got two sfx in, rushed at the end).

Cool puzzle game! Took me a bit to understand the movements, but once i got it it is really fun! And I love the graphics too. Good job!
This is an excellent puzzle game! A little bit better of an explanation of the rules for each mechanic before I learn them by failing a level several times would be nice, but once I understood each mechanic I saw that levels were making really interesting use of the established logic! Well done!
I quite like the game. It's a pity it's too slow, I would like to play much faster without waiting for all animations. (Anad also qpeed up the intro...)
Second remark is that it takes several tries to understnd the rules of the scene. And as it is too slow, it's a bit discouraging :(
Graphics are ok for pixelart, and it's nice to have made some animations. It's engaging.
Got stuck on the starting screen and took a while to figure out how to progress.
Some indicator on starting screen would have been grea!
Otherwise, nice game!
Wow, this is the first game this ludum dare that actually worked until the end :) Great game, this was fun. Great level design!
Cute artstyle, love the animations! I also like the mechanics a lot, but I think that if the player knows the mechanics up front, they are able to think more about the puzzle at hand and less have to wonder what is going on. Keep it up!

Really nice puzzle game concept ! I loved the art style ! However, it misses the sounds which could have put your game on another level of top quality, but apart from that, nothing more to say, well done for your work !
Good job with the game. The puzzles were fun to solve once you figure out the rules. I would have prefered if the turns executed a bit faster though.

Very cool game with cool concept. I really liked the art style. unfortunately the game was not balanced, I didn't manage to pass level 1.

@slimbun I'm sorry (and surprised!) to hear that you were stuck on level one. How long were you stuck on this puzzle for, and what was giving you so much difficulty?
I ask because (unless I made a huge mistake!), there should only be four possible permutations of moves in the intro puzzle; assuming that a player doesn't try the same path multiple times, it should only take three deaths before they come to the correct solution. When I timed it, it took ~30 seconds to go through all of the incorrect paths, but if you were stuck on this puzzle for much longer than that, I'm assuming that I must have missed something major! :(

@edalbung @xart2012 Thanks for the feedback! I'm sad I didn't have time to add in sound effects too 😢 It's definitely high on the list of post-jam improvements to make.
I really liked it. The puzzles were really well thought out... I cleared the whole game :) It would have been nice to have some sound effects but other than that really fun!

Not going to lie, I may have intentionally led that idiot to his death on purpose a few times. Excellent entry. Some indicator that you need to click a unit to bring up the command options might be a nice thing to have at least initially. (Maybe an arrow beneath it on their introduction levels and/or if no unit is selected after 10 seconds or so?) I was initially confused about what to do. As an added plus, this would allow you to introduce non-human units in future versions pretty readily that might not be readily identified as controllable.

@epb9000 Thanks for the feedback! I actually realized about 10 minutes before the jam ended that I'd forgotten to add a prompt telling the player to click on a unit, and unfortunately got the indicator into the game about 5 minutes too late! 😅
I figured it was against the spirit of the jam to make a marked improvement like that immediately after time was up, so I'll be uploading the new version once the rating period is over. :)

The graphics for this are super cute (and the ending is even cuter). I also like the mechanics a lot. The difficulty ramps up pretty slowly but there were some decently challenging puzzles near the end that I quite enjoyed. I would have liked an option to increase the movement/animation speed. But I had a lot of fun helping that little courier. Great job!
It took me a while to get the mechanics of this but it is a very strong core gameplay loop! The graphics are cute as well.
Even some simple audio bleeps would do wonders for the atmosphere.
