Graphics and audio well done in a very bit-y style. First tower defense game of this jam, decent execution and could've played more if the game didn't throw an error: Variable
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD58 → tombstone tactics

@6knowledge Damn, thanks for letting me know!
Great job! This was well done! I think it could've done with a few in-game instructions. I didn't realise there were two entrances at the start, since I guess that hasn't been my experience with tower defenses before, and so put everything onto one side. It actually took me a few waves until I realised that I have the ability to shoot as well. The graphics are nice and the sounds are good, great work!
I did wonder why followers had to stand still though since they do have legs.
I like this. Nice little effects like the new path emerging one tile at a time. Art is good, Sound was excellent. Great little game.
Made it till Wave 9 on my second attempt :) Very cool tower defense game, I enjoyed upgrading my townsfolk to priests and even sharpshooters :) Very satisfying. Not sure if I missed it, but I was hoping that the upgraded shrine would also cover more space for the buff, but that may have been too overpowered :) Art and Sounds where a joy as well and I also liked, that I could take part in shooting mice and zombies :) Had a lot of fun with this, great entry!
Nice art and music!
What can I say, I played till the last wave and did save the villagers, with 5 hearts left. It's really playable. I liked the graphics style a lot, the audio was also very polished. It's a great entry.
Minor things that bothered me were the fact that hitting escape (I did that in the first 2 runs to exit the menu) resets the game (having a clickable button on the screen would be better for me) and the fact I couldn't play in fullscreen.
But yeah, I loved the gameplay. The difficulty is also well tuned to the Ludum Dare format, had me hooked. Congrats!
Graphics Are Very Well, Nice To See A Tower Defence Game Here!
Gaaah the jump-y guys got me! Great tower defense game!
Very fun game! I didn't realize I could click outside that path until I looked at the screenshots so I tried to take the horde on my own. Once it got going I really liked the new paths + new enemy types. The shrines as a buff and the enemies dropping different bits was great. Good job!
Good tower defense game! It needs in game description to explain units etc but with you could learn things as you go. The collector theme isn't obvious unless collecting resources and kills counts.
This is a very solid entry! Artwork and audio are great and I also really like thoses changes in the level layout.
Really neat TD! I loved the variety of enemy type and all of the different routes that opened as you play. One thing that I would have liked to see is either a description for the units or at least some stat numbers so I could have a better idea of what I was doing as I was upgrading them.
Wow! What a hidden gem! This definitely deserves more votes. The graphics are professional-level, and the music perfectly fits the pixel-art era it represents. It’s a very complete tower defense game, I love it! At first, I was a bit confused about how to play and lost quite a few hearts, but once I got the hang of it, I had no trouble progressing. Overall, it’s a well-rounded entry, awesome game!
I like tower defence games where you have to do things yourself instead having to let your allies do all the work for you. I do wish there were in-game tips and instructions though, I never made it past wave 4 before I knew about barricades.
I really like this! It took a bit to get the hang of the interface, where I could build stuff, what kinds of things can be upgraded, etc. But once I figured it out I was having fun placing towers all over the place. The progression where new paths would appear throughout the game was very cool! And how some enemies could fly and skip the paths all together. It made for a dynamic challenge that felt full for a jam game.
I appreciated the little victory music as well! It was satisfying to get to the end. I definitely was expecting a big final wave with all the resources given for setup though lol.
The graphics were nice, the feedback when hitting enemies was satisfying! So many jam games miss that, and you did a great job of it. I also appreciated how I could run around and shoot, so if my setup wasn't perfect, I could still buff the areas that were a bit lacking in the middle of a wave by just running over there and helping out.
Overall very nice entry! I had fun :)
