I experienced some serious lag during my playthrough. It's an interesting small game.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD57 → Dynamite

I experienced some serious lag during my playthrough. It's an interesting small game.
great game, love the concept! a little confusing when its so dark though
Nice game, I like the satisfying dynamite explosion sounds, however there seems to be some lag in the web build of the game that gets in the way
I like this concept! The sound effects are really satisfying. A bit of lag on web like others mentioned.
Instantly jumping on thrown dynamites is a solid speedrun tactic
Cool stuff, the jumping was a little rapid, but it was cool to light your way with your own biggest obstacle, I definitely took more damage from my own sticks than enemeis  good work!
Interesting concept! I really like how it gets darker as you go down, the lighting effects are great and really help set the mood. I'm not quite used to the character's movement, and the music feels a bit repetitive for me, but overall, I think it's a great game! For your first entry, it's impressive, good game!
Nice little game!
I liked that the jump was quite snappy. I think the control scheme was good. The level gradually getting dark was cool and as someone pointing out before: it's cool that you need to light up with the dynamite.
While the speed of the jump was nice, I think the down acceleration was a bit to aggressive. It would be nice if speed up stayed as is, but speed down was slower, and maybe a small hang on top of the arc before falling.
While I liked it getting darker, it quickly got too dark. I think a small light on the character would help a lot. I get that that sort of ruins the thing with throwing dynamites for light - but you would still need to do that to see down chasms. Just like a 1 or 2 tiles radius would be really nice, so you'd understand if you're walking into a wall.
I also took a lot of damage with out realizing/knowing why. It might have been fall damage? Some more damage feeback would be great. Maybe a small "uuhf" sound and maybe coloring the character sprite red for half a second, or whatever.
I thought I played the whole game my first go, I got stuck in a pit where there was a light coming up from below. I was gonna say that it would be nice with a "You won" screen. But when I tried to get back there to get a screenshot I couldn't find it again but instead stumbled into the actual "you won" screen, so I'm not sure what happened there.
Don't take this feedback as criticism though. It a cool game and it's hard to get something together at all with so little time. Well done!
Fun little entry, maybe a little bit too dark at some points where I was just going blindly. I've experienced some lag issue in my browser but I think this is a Godot / HTML issue (we experienced a similar issue when using lights and shaders). I enjoyed the jump that made me feel like a flea ^^ Also I really enjoyed the dynamite stick but I am not sure of its use :)
Good work! Movement was a bit too fast as well as jumping, i experienced some sound issues during my playthrough and sometimes dynamites flew through walls.
I really like how you introduced the mechanics, as it got darker and darker the dynamite had a new mechanic, I think I want to use that idea :) nice job
I like the idea! It fits great with the depths theme! I liked that you used a different source of light other than a flashlight.
I just had some hard time with the controls. Movement is way too fast. At first I didn't understand what was killing me, or what the blue hearts were. Maybe some auditive or visual feedback would have been great, like a pain scream when you fall to deep. The music didn't make the cut for me, it got a little annoying after the 3rd or 4th loop.
It is kinda hard to decide where to fall when you can't see the bottom, I know you have to find the way with the dynamites light, but the dynamites damage you, so it's kind of frustrating not beign able to drop down to the light source knowing it will damage you. Also, the dynamites take too long to explode, beign the main interaction the player has, it's a little annoying having to wait for them to explode!
Hope you find the feedback useful! 😉 Nice entry!
i was too bad to play but really like the concept, good job 屏幕截图 2025-04-12 002228.png
Good job on completing a game for the jam! I successfully managed to get the bottom and win! Along the way though I was a little confused about a few things. I understand you want to have it get dark and creepy but I think it gets way to dark way too fast and it was almost impossible to see what was happening. I don't think adding a small light source a round the player would be a bad thing, even if it just went a tile or two to either side just to give the player some reference of where they are. You could even make it something they need to go find and pick up. I think the triangle things were the strange creatures? But they didn't really feel like they posed a threat to me. Maybe once they're activated they could start tracking towards the player before exploding. Lastly I seemed to randomly take damage and heal without knowing what was happening so I think I got a little lucky when I made it to the end. Overall though you successfully made a complete game so good job!
For some reason the game was lagging at first but thats not a big deal, also i don't think it communicates to the player what he is seeing and what the objective is, i couldnt really tell why i was dying at times, i liked the ost tho, minimalistic and cute
A bit confused by this entry honestly. The physics and the fact that you rapidly don't see anything were a bit infuriating, and I felt like I was just trying to go left and right until I found a hole somewhere to progress. I liked the idea of lighting your surrounding with the dynamite but it was a bit too cumbersome overall, with the game physics, to feel really fun. Music and sounds are nice.
Nice game! I managed to reach the bottom :)
