Very Cool little game. The Jump feels very smooth! Some Coyotetime would have been nice. I died so often from jumping just a little bit too late. But really good game otherwise! Really amazing accomplishment in such a short amount of time. Good Job!

jormundly 2025-04-08 01:29

Love the idea of exposing platforms! Something feels a bit off with the jumping, but very impressive scope for a game jam game!

maybeagoose 2025-04-08 01:30

It's a pleasure to play, your team is great!

magnesiumninja 2025-04-08 01:30

Awesome idea here, and well executed! Scanning the terrain was a really interesting touch and I liked that you needed physical line of sight to actually 'scan' the ground.

I think I would have liked a bit more control over the physics. I felt it was a little floaty for a precision platformer, and I would have loved variable jump height to control my jump better.

Graphics and audio were excellent!

celian 2025-04-08 01:31

Hey ! Loved the game, it is a litle bit hard for me because i usually like to run around without thinking but i loved it. The moving platform can be hard to see when they are moving but overall it was really cool !

the-cellist 2025-04-08 02:03

Really cool game, the concept is nice, the mood set by the graphics, music and ambient sounds is awesome !

I would have appreciated a little bit more of horizontal flexibility while jumping but otherwise the game is really cool !

Love the level design too !

slyz 2025-04-08 02:36

Capture d'écran 2025-04-08 043504.png Feel free to upload your best scores :)

yubs 2025-04-08 02:42

Really clever mechanic!

I agree on some coyote time, I also think making the green sliders move at the same rate as the player would help on some of the drop sections, where its hard to see the edge of the slider you are standing on.

The visuals and vibes are super clean, nice stuff!

mael-rios 2025-04-08 08:54

Very cool and very complete proof of concept with really nice vibe. It feels very smooth and clean to play I want to see new levels!

kabbi 2025-04-08 09:06

I really like the concept! Visuals are very consistent, and it plays nicely! Well done!

leofiremage 2025-04-08 09:51

Guys this is awesome. Easily one of the top 3 games I've tried today. The mechanic is really cool. The colors and animations are cool, the music is cool. Love it.

gwendalg 2025-04-08 10:52

Everything about this game is amazing, it's very smooth, it gives a vibe between geometry dash and riders. Maybe scanning the ground in front of us would require a cd, otherwise I don't much see the point of needing to scan instead of simply showing it.

kielant 2025-04-08 10:56

This game has been living in my head rent free since I played it, scanning the environment is a very nice feature. I did get frustrated with the jumping, which I think added to the game but it definitely needs improving. I would genuinely buy this game on steam, so would love to see this developed further, improving the physics, and turning into a fully complete game, maybe with a story. You have something here!

slyz 2025-04-08 11:11

Thank you for all of the feedback ! We had indeed planned to work on difficulty levels (some with cd for scanner, or even no scanner for the difficulty impossible), and we would have obviously liked to work more on the jump physics.. If our game gets good results we will consider for sure reworking on it and maybe publishing it on steam :)

aurelius 2025-04-08 11:38

Great concept, would love to play a full release someday! Graphics are minimalistic but to the point, and the tutorial presentation was neat

Jumping and character controls feel a bit off and some more feedback on player actions would help a lot, especially a visual representation of the scanner cone

jscommander 2025-04-08 12:10

Hi! I really enjoyed playing your game. The concept of scanning the level is very interesting. You did a great job with the tutorial, it's nice how the mechanics are introduced gradually. The minimalist style fits the game well.

I think it might be a good idea to make the scanner automatic, since I ended up holding the scan button the whole time anyway.

Great work!

jambo3 2025-04-08 13:23

Good game , very interesting

milq 2025-04-08 13:30

Wow! What a game! Honestly, I really enjoyed the levels, the music, and the graphic design, it's all really well done. If I had to point out one small thing, it would be that I'd like to be able to "see" a bit more, since I often have to get very close to things. I think if the view were pulled back just a little, it wouldn't take away from the game's charm - which is all about discovery - and it might even improve the gameplay experience a bit. But that's just a personal opinion! Once again, an amazing game! I'm excited to see more from this team. Great game!

martin-d 2025-04-08 16:17

Really good game , I liked it a lot, the music was the cherry on top really, graphics are really straightforward but to the point, really really nice, hoping to see a full release someday

cinar 2025-04-08 16:39

I didn't expect the controls to be so smooth. Great execution great entry! Keep up :rocket:

gifarre 2025-04-08 18:26

Love the game!! Very fluid, great movements, great music, great core mechanic, just can't see the depth part in it but I love it

mamboman 2025-04-08 19:55

Well done! It looks great. I love the little blue guy jumping around. The scanning mechanic is a cool idea! Good job!

dywanix 2025-04-08 21:34

very fun!

martenj 2025-04-09 09:40

Nice jumping control and movement! Had a lot of fun! I think I would like it more, if the scanner is nearer to the player

troloze 2025-04-09 16:42

Amazing game, I found that there was a small delay when I pressed the jump button and when the player jumped, but this is the only negative thing I found, this is stellar. Amazing work

scrawach 2025-04-09 20:13

Very smooth movement. I love scaning, it's implemented very good too. Good job!

virapyon 2025-04-09 21:29

Had a bit of a hard time getting used to such quick jump, but probably that was just me. A really well made project for sure!

Also, I declare level 4-2 my nemesis >:3

slyz 2025-04-09 21:46

@virapyon haha sorry for the hard levels we had hard times balancing the difficulties 😬

megalodon 2025-04-10 13:12

Incredible game, I love the idea of scanning the terrain!

thegreatcarpet 2025-04-10 16:52

A really cool concept — it’s like you combined Lidar.exe and Geometry Dash into one game! The visuals are simple and pleasant, and the music in the game is great too! You did a great job!

lucasito 2025-04-12 10:01

Great game !!! I've played it through all the levels and it's amazing how everything works well. The difficulty is perfectly adjusted. And of course the mechanics is very innovative. Bravo !

sztobar 2025-04-12 22:30

Got a weird issue on level 6-2, I saw a gun but without player and I couldn't progress (music was playing but the game didn't respond to any input). After I refreshed the page I got no high scores for the levels that I completed :(

Still, I manage to choose level 6 from the beginning and complete the whole game, so it's not a big deal. It would be nice if you save them between page loads. Music was lovely (the best part of the game for me) and the amount of levels are simply amazing for such a short period of time that LudumDare gives.

I think that I'm in a minority but I wasn't super happy with the character control, the gravity was too strong and movement too sensitive for a game with insta-dead mechanic like spikes. Many falls into the spikes seemed unfair because of that. Don't worry about it too much though, the game is still really well-made and you can be proud of yourselves.

slyz 2025-04-13 00:36

Thank you for the feedback !! I will try to look at what happened for that level 6-2, I have never heard of that bug :grimacing: Also Im well aware that our movement is quite bad, and now with perspective I think we should have spent a bit more time refining the movement rather than trying to make some levels. Anyways thanks for the positive and constructive energy :)

antonin-granados 2025-04-13 09:31

@sztobar, going back to the last checkpoint might have solved the issue, but it is a weird bug. Saving the scores online would have been a great addition (we thought about it), but it would have taken too much time to implement. And as @slyz already said, we could have focused on other parts of the game instead of making levels. Thanks for the feedbacks and glad you still liked some parts of our game.

sztobar 2025-04-13 10:39

Just saving the highscore it in the browser would be enough, using Unity [PlayerPrefs](https://docs.unity3d.com/6000.0/Documentation/ScriptReference/PlayerPrefs.html) should do the trick. Don't be too harsh about the movement, I know that it's really hard to balance what to focus on during the gamejam. Luckily the levels are short so even with frequent deaths it's easy to just keep playing

cresceda 2025-04-13 11:28

Finished the game! Really interesting concept/idea for a platformer. Something you could very well elaborate on. It's difficult to make platformers like these not rage-inducing, I think you did a pretty good job in keeping it fun rather than frustrating!

nomus 2025-04-14 01:14

Such a cool little game, I love the use of different colors for platforms and spikes, the level design is super cool, well made little game !

yurissmile 2025-04-22 19:06

Love the cute character!
