Finished the game! It was a lot of fun, the levels were well thought out and the audio helped the mood a lot

Very fun. The puzzles are excellently designed and really make you think about when to use the rat/ghost and the character to press levers and pass through the bars. The fact that you used C++ and SDL2 personally adds more value to the game for me. By the way, you haven't mentioned in the game description that you can press Enter to view the map, right? Great game!

I can't play it because I'm on macOS, but: using a custom engine is very challenging for a (compo) jam! Well done

Nice job designing this game at a low level. The music and sound effects were well done. The controls weren't all that intuitive to me, but I'm sure with time I would get used to it. The puzzles seemed to have an adequate difficulty ramp, which kept it interesting. Nice work!

Great game! Can't believe you sued your own engine! Bravo! I did find that your download link is not compatible with the Brave web browser, but switching to Edge resolved that. Very impressed. :)

Great atmosphere and sound design! The levels were pretty easy, and I thought the game ended a bit quickly... but only because I was enjoying solving the puzzles and wanted them to keep going and getting more challenging. Overall very impressive compo entry!

Some pretty neat design here! Super impressive that this is in your own engine. I found the puzzles to be well designed and the realization required to solve the last level (**spoiler??**: the fact that you can have multiple summons out at once) actually hadn't occurred to me before then and felt like a neat twist.

Nice design and a good number of levels. The difficulty curve and introducing mechanics was well paced. The puzzles were enjoyable to solve, some took a while to figure out. Walking on spikes was not an obvious thing for a rat to do. Always nice to see custom engines on here.

Very nice puzzle design here! I found a few things a little non-intuitive in the beginning (the torch blocking the ghost and the multi-summon) but I liked it overall. Very impressive that you did it in your own engine! I liked the audio as well.

Cool entry! I liked the climbing animation for the player, I thought it looked quite funny :'D

Really nice! Seemed simple at first, but combining the summons made for tricky puzzles. I was stuck for a while on (spoilers:) the first one where you need to stay on the lever to make it alternate
