This is a fun idea! Great job :)
I really like the destructible terrain, it's really fun to play around for a while. The movement could feel better, it feels like there's no limit to the movement speed. I also think it would be cooler if the placed platforms would break into smaller pieces, possibly of the same size as the other terrain. All in all, seems like a great little experiment.
I loved playing with the physics! Once I understood the mechanics, it actually generated some pretty interesting gameplay! Intentionally killing off extra versions of yourself to prevent the portal from getting them, surrounding yourself in a shield of rubble, going outside the map to ladder to the top and destroy your way down, etc. Maybe for the future, see about adding some more feedback for the player: having the portal change color as it nears death, sfx, etc - and then simplify the beginning of the game so players can get used to the cool mechanics (e.g.: spawning only 1 portal on the first level). I had alot of fun! Great job!
Very fun. Great job!
Destruction was interesting, but it's only positive thing i can say about game. Can't understand what's the goal. Movement too fast.
Enjoyed the destructible terrain. There was an issue where when I died, it seemed that the physics or keypresses that were in effect when I died carried over into the respawn. Once, I died while jumping and then could not stop jumping on respawn. I'm not sure exactly what the objective of the game was, though, and it seemed that it was just pretty frantic from the beginning with so many portals all at once.
Loved the destructible terrain and physics in your game; very engaging! Consider slowing the movement a bit and breaking platforms into smaller pieces for better playability. Adding clearer goals and feedback would also enhance the experience. Great foundation—keep refining!
Aha, I love this red brick))) I don’t know why this makes me so happy, maybe because it’s really cool or because I lose 3/4 of the games?)))
The game is really amazing, I’ll probably take a look at your mechanics with breaking bricks))
I've had a good time playing it. Good job!
Love the destruction, with some added UX showing your family members, the game could be really really cool! Great work
I just looked at the poster and downloaded it. I saw you had a video but i want experience it via my gameplay. I like that i can destroy the environment. I move in the opposite direction of my shooting. But i could not figure out by playing what I need to do. Then I read the instructions then got it. This is just me trying play without reading first to if I can do it or not.
Neat idea, but you need to get used to the clunky physics. And grenate seems obsolete to the bazooka spam. Something prevents to get further than 2nd lvl, I assume too much of a collision checks when drilling through big wall chunks, tho might be my weak laptop. Pretty much satisfied 👍
Very cool idea! I liked that I could destroy the level around me. However, the controls were a bit funny (on my computer at least). Sometimes it seemed as if some of my keys got stuck, and the character would keep moving in a certain direction. I managed to complete level 2 somehow, but never level 1.
I love me a destructible environment. Very cool game, but I did feel a bit lost. Maybe a bit too overwhelming all the buttons you need to know.
It was a fun little game. The amount of controls were a little too much, maybe reduce them or assign them to other keys closer to the main keys like "Z" or "X" but overall pretty good!
My wrist hurts. Can we hold the button down to auto-fire? Otherwise very impressive coding for a game jam game, nice job! I'd like to see it with power-ups and more enemy variety.
Amazing game, I find it absolutely thrilling! What I appreciate most, and what adds a layer of complete interaction, is the ability to destroy walls-it's truly commendable and not an easy feat. The level design is magnificent. The only drawback for me is the music, which is a bit repetitive. Other than that, I think it's an exceptionally great game!
a bit tough to get into and the high difficulty might be a turnoff. But hey, interesting concept there! Maybe ease up a bit and it'll be more enjoyable overall
