Nice game, however I am not good at this type of game^^ In level 2 I somehow fell out of the world... (while jumping into the pit where the text "ESC TO PAUSE AND RESTART" is.)

I like your graphics and the music very much. You could add some jumping sounds.

My fingers are too slow but a really fun game. Loved the music! The movement was a little hard to master but after playing for a decent clip I was definitely getting it. Great job!

@ominusgalaxy44 often this is due to too small/thin colliders or too fast movement (or both), so that when the physics engine checks the position next time, you are already past the collider.

@aligator i tried making the collider thicker with unity tilemap but it still let you slip through in some corners no matter the thickness :pensive:

Fun game. The janky physics is fun actually, I experimented with it to get a better time. The recoil is a bit hard to use but the mechanic is nice in my opinion.

reminds me of my first game that I made. I got to lvl6. Not sure how to recoil jump high enough to get over that ledge. The wall ledge blocking your jump and the lack of upward force and the very strong pull back down made that part. :D

This is my first speedrunning game, and I'm pretty bad at it! I liked the pixelart, very cute, and the beat and simple graphics worked well together. I experienced some weird super high jumps and floaty jumps like low gravity, I don't know if it was the game or my 200 open tabs? Awesome submission!

@jdemattos i misplaced the floor check, so you can get really high, floaty jumps if you jump while touching something on the right

I liked the fast-pacedness (is that a word?) of the game, but unfortunately I did encounter quite a few physics issues because of it (falling through floors, sliding up walls, box jump not working consistently). I did however like your art, and the minimap is a nice feature!

What did the delivery guy take? He's going crazy, I wish real-life delivery guys had this pace :D Overall solid entry, I like the song, it really fits the speedrunning theme. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the package recoil jump to work, but lucky for me(?) there seems to be a glitch where you can walk up walls/double jump on walls. However, the glitch only seems to work on right walls, and not on left walls so I got stuck on the next level. Not so lucky for me, I also somehow managed to glitch through the floor and fall forever. Nevertheless, a good and fast-paced platformer.

I really enjoyed the movement, but I kept falling through the floor. I've seen in one of your comments that you tried to make the colliders thicker and that that didn't work. Have you tried changing the player's rigidbody Collision Detection setting to Continuous? I used to have the same problem in one of my games and that solved it for me :)

I liked the minimap and the simple graphics and the audio as well. I didn't really get how to use the package recoil to jump higher though. Overall, great job!

Has fast gameplay, which I really like, but does unfortunately lead to the issues many others have mentioned. Has some cool ideas though, like the package throwing recoil for boosting

As far as fixing the floor clips, an easy fix I'd recommend is to cap the downwards velocity. For instance, if we assume a tile is 32 by 32 pixels (may not be true here, just using this as an example), make sure the player doesn't fall faster than 32 pixels per frame/tick (may need some adjusting based on how your physics system works)

Not bad overall! Just a little bit buggy

The first few notes are from the Mortal Kombat song, right? Ha ha ha. Other than that, great game! It reminds me of my game _Dilate the time!_ where you have to go fast and it's a platform too! Maybe the camera drives me a little crazy, but aside from that little inconvenience, great game! Congratulations!

This was fun! I got so close to the end or at least some big boss guy but didn't know how to get to him and before I did I fell through the floor but it was really fun! Nice work!!!

The controls felt really responsive and smooth with jumping against the walls. I did have problems falling through the ground quite a few times which prevented me from progressing all the way through the game.

Nice entry! I liked the controls, simple but effective. I fell through the floor a few times, not sure if you're using discrete or continuous collisions, but changing to continuous may help on the rigidbody. I think some others have given pointers too. Graphics and music were good. Great job!

It seems that sometimes collision does not work as expected as I fall few times through floor so I did not manage to finish. We got similar idea for this jam :D Also - I really liked background sound :D I felt mortal kombat vibes :D

I think the controls could be improved a lot---the collision is pretty buggy and at times it made me think I could even wall-jump (which you're not supposed to be able to do, obviously). With a bit of polish this could be a lot of fun, though!

Nice idea to make a speedrun game. It would be better if you can do restart with a keyboard shortcut.

Really cool game! I liked the high pace of it, the recoil mechanics were a bit hard to master but very rewarding once you understand them, glitching through the floor kinda even felt like a feature haha like you had to figure out how to not fall too fast to not go through the floor. Great entry!
