I really dig the chill atmosphere of the game, ability to splice the cabbages to reach optimal vitamin level is a nice touch

These games are difficult to play for me because they demand introspection that I avoid. I think the hardest part of growing older is letting go of those you held the closest, as life diverges naturally. This game felt bittersweet; Literally looking back as they wave, took a picture, after reminiscing struck something in me. But.. seeing them become me, fills my cup. I carry their memories with me; I am them. it's beautiful, and this game is a great representation of that. Thanks, guys.
Clever game design, juicy sprites and particles. The music is charming, the graphics have nice touches like animated birds, and the enemy will turn amphibious if you beach your craft. Executed very cleanly!
Played with some buddies, netcode is snappy and responsive. Love Tron!
sound design is a little borderline offensive, and camera control is very, very loose and I often lose the player, especially when the player can jump like 100m into the air but after a few games I never had to go that high. Great prototype tho.
Playful art aesthetic and bright, happy sound and music. I liked the detail in the art, in-between animations, and how you treated buoyancy. I normally wouldn't have played this type of game but I'm glad I did because I actually played it quite a while, enough to get up to 20k's before I let the repairs eat me up.
Lovely game!
I love the music and the art. The guards are hard to hear over the music, I think a great elaboration on the idea would be to give the player a more visual warning before they're caught, and a reminder to press the snore button. The humor was really cutesy grotesque which I love, and enjoyed the backstory introducing the story. Congrats!
This made me feel very uncomfortable. But I felt something, expression achieved! This vibe is very fresh, would love to see this in some disgusting suite of body maintenance/functions with a story. Cheers
I love the voice acting and lovely janky physics, really impressed with the amount and quality of models and content in general. Very touchy to land babies but I love physics games, very charming game!
Tight controls, great collision. Gave me awesome nostalgia, just challenging enough! Cheers on nice tight scope well executed
For some reason, this game made my SteamVR/Windows Mixed Reality turn on every time. At first I wasn't sure what to do but it was pretty self explanatory. I loveddriving into the worms mouth after delivering the bombs, got a great laugh out of me! the voice track and interstitials reminded me of Stalker a little, lovely jam!
I am a fan of TempleOS despite the tragic history behind its creator, it's hard to not find some kind of admiration for the orders passed down. Terry said God only wanted VGA. Why anything else?
This is an achievement. Some kind of ultimate post-modern statement. I love the idea behind it more than the execution, but by only using Gods tools, who can say what isn't perfection? Not only did you have the big brain to pull this off, but the balls. Kudos and respect from this dev.
Really enjoyed the cute music loop and pixel art. Was a bit confused at first, UI was a little confusing but well designed visually. Enjoyable experience, great jam! Cheers!
A postmodern interpretation of what it is to truly deliver a game. Nice!
Loved the graphics, controls felt a bit touchy but overall a nice take on the theme. Can understand the limited gameplay, managing your scope to deliver is hard work and you certainly delivered a pretty game.
In the most non-patronising way possible, I love the humor and the feeling of the game. The translation isn't perfect, but honestly I liked that about it! It gave it its own funny personality and worked with the theme, I really enjoyed it. I think the air control is too tight, and a little player velocity would make the player feel more natural. Also some levels were difficult to play as I kept jumping on to platforms that were actually features of the background image.
Overall, really charming and a lot of work!
This is my first speedrunning game, and I'm pretty bad at it! I liked the pixelart, very cute, and the beat and simple graphics worked well together. I experienced some weird super high jumps and floaty jumps like low gravity, I don't know if it was the game or my 200 open tabs? Awesome submission!
Fantastic pixel art, lovely music, well executed idea. I very much enjoyed playing. Impressed!
I love the concept of a first person platformer and believe there is a lot of 'meat on the bone' to the idea, and room to expand upon and elaborate. I really enjoyed the feel of the game and the use of assets was very intelligent to create something that legitimately had a good amount of gameplay! Theme was nailed and I enjoyed the music.
I'm cantankerous and it takes a lot to impress me, but I am really impressed with the art and delivery! I love the funny quips and voice acting lines as you switch and how they change depending on the rat you're using, like the captain doesn't like being in the engine room. The voices really flesh out the game a lot and make the rats feel unique. really awesome idea, loved seeing the location of the ship on the map and how your actions change them. Cheers!
Lovely design decisions, I had a blast playing through! The buildings looked really fantastic and the texturing held everything together really well, the movement was pretty smooth, bones for a really fun game are all here!
The trippy art style really gives the game a cool vibe. I'd love to see what your team comes up with next!
Creepy vibe, wasn't really sure what to do past stacking though. Tight physics and good lights. Had to alt-f4 to exit. Nice submission!
I liked the relaxing pace of the game, and the idea itself has so much potential and this game is an awesome proof of concept. Enjoyed clicking around and imagining the things to do with the clock and poster. Pleasant and not too stressful!
Nice to see some well executed features in such short span. Movement wasn't janky and looked like a good amount of effort went into the buildings. Would have liked to see more sacrifices in the game itself. Nice work!
Interesting conception and use of ChatGPT, the amount of text to read with an AI game like this is really impressive
I couldn't for the life of me land on one of the later slippery plates. I get frustrated easy, and I tried landing short, jumping before I stopped moving, jumping from the beginning, the end. Keep slipping, I just bailed after like 50 falls. Enjoyed the simplicity and concept of it though, I wish I was a little better at it or there was a way I could have influenced my landings. Great little game overall though, nice!
Made it to the checkpoint with 70 hp, nice concept but definitely could have used some more payoff after the decisions were made by the player, perhaps several branching narratives or decisions to make afterwards
Adorable game, love the art style and cute sounds. With an art pass and little elaboration this game would be a really fun itch game
The game crashed when I tried to run it, unfortunately
I didn't think I'd like this game on first load because of the story, but I really liked the clean and simple pixel art, the music was mellow, and everything just felt 'right.' after finding a full crew after 3 deaths, I was able to get up to 2000+, I really enjoyed the different attacks by the different animals and how they all moved differently and existed in their own biomes. Bear + elephant is my combo! A really lovely, juicy game!
@christian-zommerfelds @3mpty appreciate the feedback! The ship moves faster the more reactors that are placed on the ship, but they definitely could be balanced a bit more. Appreciate everyone playing our game, thanks for the suggestions!
Awesome concept it's very similar to ours, the controls felt very touchy which made it a little difficult to make it through mine maze (lvl 2) I was surprised by how much damage the asteroids did compared to enemy collisions.
That aside though the gameplay was very emergent and I actually went back and played a couple rounds extra, really enjoyed this submission and great idea making the components tetrominoes!
Loved seeing the code in the side of the window, nice execution. The use of emojis was brilliant and gave me a lot of ideas. I really liked the execution of this game, very technically proficient and clean!
Legitimately made me feel uneasy, I didn't expect to play an unnerving game like this. The turning was really jarring, wish it had some smoothing to it so I didn't lose my way, but it pulled me in with the horror aspects. Good use of sounds.
The game does not have any way of exiting or restarting when you die, you must use alt-f4. Overall some really nice design decisions
I loved the shaders and engine effects used over the pixel art, the artwork was very clean and the game was absolutely solid with tons of enemies on screen. I liked the moving play area, and how the crabs throw axes!
Would have like to see an indicator of where I was aiming past where Bennet was pointing his gun. Cute concept, would have loved to see powerups, elaboration on guns/enemies, but that's a jam! Cheers
Some levels were very difficult but I enjoyed pairing components and fitting together the different shaped tetrominoes to figure out unique solutions. I played this game to completion and very much enjoyed it. Wish the music loop was a bit longer, and that the PSU looked a little different than the other components, I kept clicking it by accident but possibly a skill issue. The space invader level was a nice touch, GG!
Fun game! I like the simple idea of limited space to roam, and the upgrades are really fun, I found myself wanting to play more and get all the upgrades. Love these styles of games, awesome visuals, good smooth controls, and great music!
Surprisingly simple and fun, didn't expect to spend more than a few minutes but the gameplay was actually really good and made me think about my next few moves. Love the simplicity of it, beautifully executed game, excellent understanding of game concepts on display
