I LOVE the design of different ground materials, especially ice, it improves the game to a new level with real-time consider and action. I give it the highest score in fun and innovation, maybe it will be better if you add a visual hint to the drag-and-release pattern, it's a little confusing at first.
Took me 6 minutes and 138 falls, that was fun. Pretty good game, collisions were a bit off and the clouds disappearing didn't always appear as soon as you restarted, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

Cool obstacle course! More than I expected. I also dug the different materials. Some of the gauntlets seemed rough at first but once I got how the movement actually works, it was manageable. That's my main complaint - that it's not exactly clear how the controls work.
Love that you included stats in the end! 6:40/202/77
Fun entry!
What wizardry elementary performed to do it in 6 mins, I don't know. It took me 18:43, 499 kicks, 304 falls.
It was really fun. I really like the variety of platforms. The first set of ice platforms took me forever to figure out, since it didn't occur to me that I could kick the box when it was moving. I think you nailed the difficulty. It's hard, but doable. Good job.
I absolutely applaud you for having a speedrun clock, a kick count, and a fail count. As i was playing, I was thinking about how all 3 of those would be a perfect addition, and you did it!
Those cloud sections are incredibly difficult! I recorded myself playing to provide extra feedback:

@rickylee thanks for playing this was my score
Pretty creative idea. Too hard for me, but I definitely appreciate it.

Cool idea, definitely makes me think of getting over it or jump king. Would have been nice to have a kind of gauge to at least visualize the strength of the kick.

Fun concept. I liked the idea. I was quite challenging at one point, where the box slide on a blue circle. I nice addition would have been to give a visual clue of where you're aiming, and a simple sound effect. Cheers
Really cool concept - simple yet effective
Definitely one of the more innovative games I've played so far for this Ludum Dare. It does provide a good challenge and fast reflex skills when the box slides on what I believe is ice, and I sort of found it difficult to make much progress in the game after encountering those surfaces. But I think if I played the game on a smaller screen or even on a phone somehow that it could get quite addictive! Nice work getting it made for the COMPO.

I liked the terrain variety and evolving puzzle design. That said, I did start get some pretty gnarly carpal tunnel issues by the end. I think the game might be helped by an indicator of where the force is going, and perhaps an early prompt to drag the mouse clear across the screen, as I didn't realize I could do that until about half way through the game. Always impressed with compos that can take simple mechanics and make them work for a whole a game. GG
I couldn't for the life of me land on one of the later slippery plates. I get frustrated easy, and I tried landing short, jumping before I stopped moving, jumping from the beginning, the end. Keep slipping, I just bailed after like 50 falls. Enjoyed the simplicity and concept of it though, I wish I was a little better at it or there was a way I could have influenced my landings. Great little game overall though, nice!

 nice theme implementation! It's really boring to carrying boxes  Good entry!
277 kicks and 97 falls lol. My package is ded. Nice work on this entry - super simple and the right amount of length for an ld game. The parts that were missing which would have made this a lot better are really just UI based: power and direction drag indicators, some indication that you are hovering over the box and can grab it, maybe even a little "golf" map so you can see your path to the end and anticipate what kind of terrain is coming up or what bends might happen. Overall a satisfying LD game to play! nice work keep jammin'!
good game!! Also play my game!
> Wouldn't it be more fun to kick it?
I'm not sure fun is the reason I am kicking this dang box anymore!
Joking aside this is a great game. I wasn't anticipating a rage inducer. I didn't wan't a rage inducer. But boy isn't this ever a well designed one. I love how with only a few simple mechanics you managed to design multiple great and unique challenges.
One suggestion on how this could be improved is to make the clickable hitbox of the package bigger than it's visible sprite. In high stress moments it's really easy to missclick and on ice section if you take even a fraction of a second too long to check that your mouse is over the package it is likely too late. Making the click radius more forgiving (at least while the package is in motion) would allow for less stress about whether you will click the package and allow you to focus more on where you are aiming. This would also allow for the creation of more complex puzzles.
Another pain point with this game is the checkpoint system. It wasn't clear to me why after the first ice platform my progress wasn't getting saved. I thought the game was broken and even reloaded it in the hopes that it wouldn't glitch out. It wasn't until I got past that section that I realized it wasn't broken and it was intentionally not saving my progress. It would be helpful if there was some sort of icon or something indicating when your progress is or is not being saved.

@drazil100 Weirdly enough there is no hitbox on the box that lets you kick it. You can drag from any point on the screen but (and this is totally my fault) most people assume that they have to drag from the box. Like in the video that 100th_Coin made they started by dragging from the box and later were just dragging across the whole screen. I should have said that somewhere. In any case thanks for the feedback.
