the controls are a way too floaty. the camera would have been nicer if it followed the player. the game feels a bit out of control to play properly. the concept seems good, just needs the better controls. OH and soften the music a bit.
I really like the design of the character, and the retro 3D graphics, that remind me the 32/64 era. So i start the game, the camera turn in all the direction, the title again, hum i don't understand nothing...ok restart. I see i need to dodge these guys ! The camera continue to make his life but it's playable. And i find this so fun ! The character jump animation WAOUH !!! Die again RESTART jump WAOUH !!! Very funny game, with cute aesthetics. Good job and thanks for this game ! (I Like your style and now following you on itchi.io)

I like the graphics, camera is a little crazy, can't see what's going on. You can mostly avoid all the zombies by jumping on the trees. Would be nice to have some score or something.

The controls and camera are a bit off, but it's a good concept. Art and music are good.
I like the world design, the world and player have somewhat of a N64 aesthetic, there doesn't seem to be much gameplay other than just avoiding being touched which is really easy if you just jump over to an island and stand there. The controls were too floaty and the jumps are massive so there's no real danger or fine control, it wouldn't have been as big of an issue but the camera snaps around like crazy and it's impossible to see where you are most of the time. Could actually be a decently fun arcade style game with tighter jumps and a chase cam that stays behind you.
I actually like the N64 graphics and the bouncy camera, but there wasn't really any gameplay or did I not understand it?

I am attracted by the retro 3D graphics. Amazing jump motion! :) I explored the map, but is there a storyline?
I love the vibe of this game, who knew dodging zombies would slap so hard.

Entertaining, but it would be nice if there was some sort of objective or score.
Really great audio, mood, and graphics, unfortunately, the camera feels like something from a ps1 game, In the worst way possible, I really like the game as a base, but it needs improvement, I would check it out if you add to it later!

Don't get this as a bad commentary, but I think this is a good interpretation of what hell would be like.
sound design is a little borderline offensive, and camera control is very, very loose and I often lose the player, especially when the player can jump like 100m into the air but after a few games I never had to go that high. Great prototype tho.

Would be great to have something like a leaderboard or just a score and additional gameplay elements.
Thanks for the game!

It wasn't clear that the game ended almost immediately. There was a title screen, and then there it was again.
It took a few tries before I realized that the game's start could potentially give you no safe area to move before getting killed.
After a few more tries, I remembered that Space was the jump button, so I tried to jump to safety. I managed to make it to an island in one of my tries, and then no one found me, and it had the added bonus of a camera that wasn't spinning around wildly.

So then I wondered if there was anything more to the game besides avoiding the enemies, and I tried to make it to other islands, but I found it very difficult to control my jumps and movement.
The retro look was cute and the blood splatters were a nice touch.
The music and sound effects were serviceable.

I think this is the first truly 3D Ludum Dare game I've played, cool! The camera is confusing, as others have noted. If you fixed the camera and maybe added more kinds of enemies, there is definitely potential!

I agree the controls and camera are pretty floaty so it makes it very difficult to escape the pursuing enemies. I think the music does a really good job of enhancing the deadly mood as does the lighting/artwork. I ran it a few times and once I got the hang of the controls a bit more I was able to survive for a while. Congrats on finishing! :)
I really like the PS1-style graphics and sound effects, and the consistensy of everything to that theme is very respectable.
The camera is a bit all over the place sometimes, but I definitely think it suits the game far better, and makes it a lot more interesting than a normal 3rd person camera ever could. It adds a constant layer of intensity to the gameplay, where the hyper-dynamic camera is as much of an enemy as the zombies, and that combined with the massive airtime makes the game really fun and intense.
Although there's not much to do gameplay-wise, the camera and jump mechanics alone make flying around the map fun enough to make this one of my favorites of the jam so far.
Wow, the sound and visual presentations are very nice, it really looks like something from PS1 era. Gamplay vise I wished for more control over what is happening, as sometimes it looks like a complete mess. A more obedient camera would have helped a lot, as when it behaves, the game feel is fantastic.
Cool prototype. And yes, the retro 3D graphics add a kind of nostalgic charm. As others have said though, the jumps are _way_ too floaty and the chaotic camera is essentially game's the main enemy! That said, I _was_ able to 'win' pretty easily:

Buhanochka lives forever, as the Z hordes, having completely lost their logistical supply lines, continuously fling themselves over the cliff edge and into the void for all eternity!
A quite surreal and unusual title, I like its vibe quite a lot. The N64-esque look definitely adds to the gloomy aesthetic, since it always reminds me of the creepypastas connected with that console.
