The gang looks very sad about the fact that I didn't manage to fit a park.
- Cozy music - Great character sprites - Basebuilding!
Really cool!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD54 → Volatile Village

This game has a lot to offer. Good job on the characters and the extra effort of turning it into an RPG-style puzzler.
Captivating, do the heroes work together on an assignment or alone? Completing a cave or not.
@pe7e Thanks for checking the game out, I really appreciate it. Sending two people to the same place on the same day does not increase their individual chance of success, but sending someone to a dungeon that was already explored on a previous day (successfully or not) does increase their chances.
Nice idea, quite original. I also like the graphics. Just, the music is a bit repetitive and loud at some point. Other than that, nice entry. GG.
- Interesting idea but kinda gets repetitive, I liked the fatigue expression. - I had a lot of gold and nothing to spend it on. - It was difficult to tetris the buildings having limited space and not being able to put them back, especially if I just needed to rearrange something but couldn't because I placed building in the trash too inefficiently.
Fun base builder/adventure management game. Think the game would benefit from a bit more player feedback. Wasn't clear to me what effect e.g. the blacksmith or potionshop had.
cool game, keep up the good work
The innovation in the game is outstanding, blending the classic Tetris block-matching with a village setting. This thematic integration elevates the gameplay experience! However, I'd love if the first level were a bit easier, and the music can be somewhat repetitive. Otherwise, it's a fantastic game that, while it still needs some polishing, showcases intriguing ideas, especially for a Compo version. Impressive!
I thought I was playing some kind of tetris and was supposed to fit all the blocks, but figured out it was impossible. I noticed I can click continue anyway and got to a whole new game that I have no idea how to play - I can click people and destinations (or something) and I guess something happens to them when I click continue, but I have no idea why.
Also.. the music gets repetitive rather fast.
It took me a few attempts to notice that studying how to adventure gives more experience than actually adventuring :P
I think this is great, and surprisingly well-balanced for something made in such a short time. The little building-placement puzzle worked well with the other game elements and didn't feel shoehorned in. I kind of wish I had more of an idea why certain adventures ended in failure, though. It'd be really cool if there were a mini simulation of the adventure, even if only in text form, to make it clear what's happening. Alternatively, maybe the dungeons could come with descriptions of the kinds of items/abilities which would help in each, or even a percent likelihood of success. As-is I was mostly guessing whether each dungeon would be worth attempting, and just "maxing everything out and praying" on the final one.
Really nice little game !! Loved the building management and rogue like theme :)
