Wow I love this entry! Just the jet mode on it's own would be a fun and well put together jam game in my books, but the fact you also made a complicated strategy game on top of that is incredible. I love the art style, the sfx, the jet mode felt amazing, you have good ai and world generation. It gave me real openTTD vibes (especially the place names and news alerts), which is one of my favourite games ever so well done! My only small gripes would be that it was too slow to get an economy going initially (at least for me trying to play a bunch of jam games) as I could never afford a rail system from a factory to a city from the get go. Also the train stations were only one directional and tracks and stations wouldn't then update after I built them correctly so that was a little frustrating. Unfortunately the game kept crashing on me once I started to make some progress so I couldn't see the full scope of it. Please let me know if you manage to fix that as I would love to play it fully.

Also I would say that it is not immediately obvious what strategy and techniques to use in the build mode. Maybe some more screenshots or gifs might help with that.

thanks a lot for the kind words! i bit off a bit more than i could chew and these crashes have been a real nightmare for me to deal with. ;P

i think the lack of any info the game gives you is gonna gut us hard in the ratings, but we just didn't have time to implement any unfortunately. :/ - I'll definitely add some pointers to the description, good idea.

I'm not sure I understand the building part of the game, but the shooting part is really fun ! I like zooming around the map while pewpewpewing at bad guys :D The building part looks really interesting, and I'm sure with a proper tutorial it could be really fun ! Also the two music, the chill one and the more action-oriented one blend nicely for the two kinds of gameplay

Wow, such an interesting concept! I like the simple art style, it fits the game really well. The gameplay seems a little tedious, the money goes up quite slowly and there is not much to do. It probably ramps up later in the game, but I think it would be better if there was a bit more pressure (or things to do) from the start. Saving people is at times frustrating, since you need to land exactly on top (also the first time I was afraid I would just crush them). That said, I think the idea has potential, so I'd try and improve on it after the jam!

Very cool concept. The jet is fun to fly and the two music tracks are great! It did crash on me a few times, not sure if it is tied to anything I did as I was just flying around.

Great game! The art style is pretty cool. Unfortunately the game would crash at random. A full version of this game would be really cool!

Wow! There's so much to this game!

There's obviously tons of depth to the city growth mechanics that I've only just started to grasp from my time playing. The retro style pixel art looks very cool and does a great job of conveying what everything is and how you can interact with it. Music fits the vibe really well and just straight up really fun to play!

Easily one of my favourite games from this jam!

This game looks and plays very well. The graphics reminded me of a childhood playing SimCity late into the night. Music fits perfectly. Had a few issues with the game crashing but, still, overall very well done!

The jet mode is smooth and plays well, though the game froze when I had 3 enemy turrets shooting me below 0 HP. Would be nice to pick people up without landing then taking off again. Couldn't really figure out the strategy for build mode, and it would be nice to have a bunch of rails with a single drag and drop. Nice entry!
