Good use of effects (both sound effects and visual effects), hope you can find time to flesh it out more after the jam. A health bar (or even something like more sparks coming off the robot at low health) would be nice, otherwise it feels like a guess if you can take another hit.
This is a very nice game. It's very fun to play, and in is pretty challenging. I also love the visual style of it.
Love the gameplay, really fun and challenging.
Fun and innovative game! Great feel and the mechanics are really unique. Really fun to play! Edit: forgot to say how much I loved the art style; consistent and cool!
So mutch fun, cool game design! congratulations!
I really enjoyed the game. I think the art style is unique, the music engaging. While the game design is fun and quirky, I think it could have tackled the theme more directly, or adapted it in a more interesting way. But by all other standards, fantastic work!

Probably one of the most fun games I've seen in the game jam so far! Well done!
The music is amazing, you composed the track? Also the gameplay is fun & innovative
Really fun game! Well done :)
Nice design! The controls are pretty easy to pick up and I found the game to have a bunch of interesting moments of difficulty. I did feel unsure of how much health I had though.
The game plays very smoothly, looks great and is a lot of fun. A full/expanded version would be awesome!
Your effects are AMAZBALLS
I actually did a video capture so I can look back on this one for inspriration.
Besides that, that's a unique gameplay style, I've never seen anything like that before. Music was cute, character art was great.
Cool twist on the twin-stick shooter! The single-stick shooter... I think I beat it, or the levels starting repeating. Anyway. I would have liked a little charging-up animation to better understand the timing of when my little robot was going to start shooting. And one thing about the nature of the levels is that they start off hard, with all the enemies on screen, and get easier as you pick them off. Kinda anti-climactic. Everything else was quite nice, though.
Really great effects, game is simple and fun to play. Music track goes well with the game play. Love the Geometry Wars inspiration. Good luck!
great music. love the stop to shoot mechanic.
Tying movement to shooting - great twist and very fun to play! Awesome execution on this idea, with great game feel from the audio and art style and all the effects.

Looks great, the movement feels smooth and it gets hard pretty fast :D Only thing I didn't like is that sometimes it felt like I was winning because of luck

I liked it! from comments: I would like to see the number of lives of my robot, as well as the timer of launching arrows. Because without them it's hard to guess when something is going on in the game. Great job!
This is one of the few games I actually finished to the end. Bullet hell where you need to stop is a good concept. Solid game and that next level animation is exquisite.
A health bar for the character would be nice tho.

There are so many good things about this game. The art, music, sound, and the game play. A polished mini strategy game. Well done.
Very fun game. I thought standing still to shoot was very innovative because it also made you vulnerable. It was unusual to have to take no action to take the most violent action - and I really liked that.
Strangely I really liked how the player looped back to the beginning and applied the new skills the player learned to levels that were previously challenging.
My guy, I am super in love with the polish in the effects in this game. It runs buttery smooth in WebGL and feels excellent to play!
The gameplay is also unique and interesting, and I enjoyed trying to master it. I do kind of wish my little robot guy would start shooting faster, but I think with a little tweaking and balancing, this game is well on its way to being something retail worthy. :)

Strong archero vibes! Nice smooth movement and cool effects. Good job! Nice tune!
Pretty cool, liked the special particle effects.
One thing that'd make it more playable would be cover ( either solid or destructable , space invaders style ) , as on the level in this screenshot, I got hit from every angle when the enemy bullets just went through the walls. There's no real tactics here. :frowning2:

This is a great concept I haven't seen before. It's simple to understand but needs a bit of practice to master. The portal and explosion effects are awesome. I also like the upbeat music.
Very good overall. Had fun playing it and would gladly play more levels!
Awesome game! Enjoyed playing. Visuals controls and sound are great!
Would have liked a win screen instead of loop. Music and visuals made for a pleasant experience ♥
Nice particles! cool art style and idea. Good job!
I like this a lot. Something I'm always thinking about in games like these is "Is there a reason not to just shoot all the time?", and you solved that in really elegant way. I also really love the font/logo, it looks really professional.
Lots of fun! I enjoyed the mechanic, it was quite simple but I can see it expand with more mechanics and enemy variations. The music was nice and fitting, and the art was clean. Loved the level completion portal VFX.
