Great visuals and awesome take on the theme. The title screen intro was amazing. The game feels very fluid and controls are tight enough.
The music was good too. Its a retro style game so retro sounds seem fitting. Maybe adding more modern synths may have been the icing on the cake!
Big fan of the visuals, and the enemy variety is very nice. I like how you did the "glitchy" effects without going completely overboard. IMO, the controls should be the other way around, but that's just me maybe.
This is pure lovely execution. Honestly amazing visuals and a simple effective loop.
Very well done!

I wished there were anglular controls for shooting whenever I had a shot lined up, but the morphing terrain bumped me. And I especially felt that way when my missed bullet ricochetted and killed me. I like the retro arcade feel. Cool concept and fun game!
Really not a fan of the music in this one, it doesn't fit the gorgeous visual aesthetic you have going on. I really like the amorpheous level that constantly shifts randomly and the little touches like slowing down the game during near misses.
Had a legendary run with a highscore of 53, the Blobius record books will remember this as the miracle of '20.
But yeah, it's a wonderful game. This would have been an arcade classic back in the day. What I liked most was slowly figuring out the personalities of the different blobs, like the green ones that always avoid you, the red ones that chase you and the purple ones that float around. My go-to-strat near the end was to have a couple of shots inside at all times to wipe out enemies with the power of stochastic probability. Sound design and graphics were amazing as well, you really nailed that arcade feeling with those, bullet time when a shot gets close was such a nice touch. All in all, super good, great job!
Really interesting graphics and how the arena morphs around. Amazing effects as well. One thing I didn't like was the music, it was sad. Sad music while blasting blobs with a turret? Doesn't make any sense! Great job though.

Graphics and audio are on point! Very cool death shader. You actually polished the game really well and it leaves nice overall impression. Really cool game, especially for compo!

Your game is really special actually. In one hand I think it's great. Visuals are great, controls are simple, precise yet it manages to create a very interesting challenge. Also the slowdown when approaching a bullet is awesome and satisfying! But on the other hand, I felt completly overwhelmed after one or two tries. I think your visual are great but maybe is it too much? I don't know. Overall I like almost everything independently but in its globality, I wasn't stuck to it. Really great work no matter what, I felt you put hard work on your compo!
Extremely polished and well done. It is very hard, but is also very addicting.
Only two things really bother me. First, there's no real telling when enemies will enter the loop, which can become annoying when there are a lot of enemies both inside and outside. The other issue was just that it can be difficult to tell which arrow key will go which direction depending on where you are. I felt that the controls on the outside of the loop are often reversed to what I'd expect, which confused me. I have no idea what the solution to that would actually be, though, and might be outside of the scope of a jam.
But generally, this is pretty easily one of the best jam games I've played!

this is great! i love the song, eventhough my entirely subjective opinion is that the music and sound design clashes a bit with the gameplay. gameplay feels polished and hits that sweetspot between really hard and "just one more game" good job!

Wow, i loved this one! Hitting an enemy is really rewarding in this game. The slow motion when you are about to hit your own bullet is perfect. Congratulations!
This is fantastic! It really feels like a classic atari arcade game, and the technical implementations of the morphing arena shape, and visual graphics are all very impressive. Great work on this one!
Absoluetly stunning! The gameplay is very addictive and I love the how the theme was executed.
Really polished, original and addicting. We used similar concept for our game, and also the postprocessing. Good job! You did the whole game yourself?

This is abosolutely amazing dude. Really great usage of the theme. It's really fun as well. At times I felt that it was a little confusing as to whether I should press left or right but I suppose that's just a by-product of the game's design and something which can be avoided with practice. Time slowing down when one of your bullets was next to you was a really great touch. Still, probably my favourite game so far with amazing presentation. Well done
Wow, super crunchy game! I really liked the polish on this game! You are a VFX wizard! Great work!
I think my only two issues have been mentioned in previous comments: - I wish there was some sort of anticipation / indicator for when a blob would switch sides - There are times where I wanted to go left, but went right (for example when I'm doing a full rotation counterclockwise on the inner loop, then I switch sides at the top, then want to move right, I still need to press left). It's definitely a tricky situation, because ideally if you are moving in a full rotation, you'd want to use the same button. Tough problem!
But overall, I really enjoyed it. Great work!

Super-polished game, and such a clever game mechanic. I really enjoyed playing this one. Well done! :)

Love the effects, the loop itself feels really unique and organic. It was pretty frustrating when enemies would flip over onto me, or if I timed a flip badly and ended up inside an enemy - even beyond that it's just fairly difficult overall, but that's not a bad thing.
This was REALLY GOOD. Probably the best ludum dare game I've played so far. Hope you'll continue working on this. I have literally 0 complaints.
Very cool and polished as always, very difficult as well, died many many times.
Really good gameplay and well polished. The fugue soundtrack is unique and cool and adds a lot to the ethereal mood of the game. The highlight effect before collisions helps a lot for the learning curve as well.

My favorite concept I've seen so far, I got really into it, even showed some non-jam friends. I would get a bit frustrated at the controls, I sometimes forgot what direction the arrow keys would send me (the slow down when my own bullet was about to hit me was much appreciated). I wonder if adding mouse based movement would help me understand the directions better.
I wonder what it would feel like if you had multiple loops floating in space and sometimes they would overlap and you could jump between loops or something, but that might take away from the simple but powerful nature of it. I'll definitely be returning to this post jam to try and beat my high score.
I think a more ambient synth based soundtrack would really lock the entire mood.

It has a really good gameplay, it has simple mechanics and a lot of replaybility
The art is nice, it reminds me of old arcade games
The music fits with the instruments but the melody sound more like a kind of castle music, sort of, it gives that feeling, and the sounds fit as well too
The flipping mechanic can be abused at first, but later on where there are many enemies is kind of hard to do so, and the shape shifting inside of the level it's a really unique idea, it really makes you think about the shoots you are going to make inside because there may be a lot of enemies outside and if you get inside, you may die because of your own bullets
It's a pretty good game, and counting that it was made in a game jam, its just great!
Keep working and keep it souled!
