REALLY LIKE THE GAME IT A BIT DIFFERNT THE WHAT IWAS EXPECTING AND ENJOYED IT
What a great twist on the brick-breaker ! Really cool entry, love the art-style and the gameplay.
What an interesting idea. I initially was just speed clicking at random but quickly realized a more intentional strategy was much more effective. I also made a twist on traditional breakout if you feel like trying it. Not as good as yours but was still fun to make.
Neat entry! I think you nailed the theme as I was scrambling to delay the inevitable. I enjoyed all the different power-ups and how they interacted with the graphics.
I really liked it. Simple, but fun!
this ahas to be one of the most fun games ive played.loved the art, loved the audio, loved the gameplay, controls were tight.i only gotF once when all my def brick became tinny tinny specs of nothing and ball when deep n me and litterally F'd ME. But thats more and RNG issue than design issue. great work and great entry.
This is a superb showing. I love the sounds. The collisions feel tactile. The gameplay is really frenetic. Overall really really good!
As someone who spent WAY TOO MANY hours back in the day playing DX-Ball back in the day, this game was a lot of fun! I really like how you basically flipped Breakout on its head and instead of blowing up the bricks, the player is now trying to build them before the ball can destroy them. Very neat concept, amazing visuals and sound, I could sit and play this game for hours. Honestly, my only complaint after several plays of the game is that once you DO hit game over, the animation of the bricks filling up the screen takes a few seconds and I want to get back to playing like right now  Great job!
What a great idea to invert the bricks gameplay! That was really innovative and makes a lot of fun
The game is pretty hard and and some of the powerups can be merciless but I guess that suits the theme. Overall very nice :)
The frantic pace of the game keeps your attention on the game, which I found highly engaging. Nice entry.
Aaaand that's one more carpal tunnel to replace !
Anyway, the idea is great, the ball powerups are great too. I just wished there was other mechanics or strategy than frenetically clicking where the ball will land. Maybe some power-ups for yourself and not for the "enemy" : auto-build, stronger bricks, larger pad, ball power-ups dispelling, ...
Nice start, but too short. More please ! Achievements, quests, story, bonus, things to buy !
Great one! In a full release perhaps a bit more of a build up, like perhaps the ball starts slower and speeds up as the game goes on as a sort of gradual tutorial.
Or like classic tetris you can choose a speed to start to amp up the challenge if you want it.
This is a really fun twist on breakout! Really fun and hectic and a very solid entry. I agree with above posts that it could be improved by having some build-up and more strategy to it, and I also think the "how to play"-text is a bit hard on the eyes.
But other than that, really solid entry! Great work!
Amazing game design! Loved the ideia and fits very well with the theme, would be super cool to play on mobile!
The gameplay gets a little repetitive since the best strategy seens to be "click as fast as possible", would love to see more of strategic or reaction placement.
Great entry!
What a unique take on this type of game. It was really fun and cool. Great job!
Wow this is really fun! I couldn’t keep track of all the special bricks and their effects, but trying to come up with strategies for my bricks on the fly was hectic and lots of fun. Really cool catchy music too. Great job!
Such a cool idea, and I love the execution! It feels retro but like it got it's own kind of vibe at the same time. I love the sounds and animations, and the game is surprisingly challenging. The way the walls become powerups is quite clever. There are so many small but interesting mechanics. I would maybe speed up the "brick wall transitions" a tiny bit. Overall a great entry! My highscore so far is 02:26.
