Ohy my, i absolutly love this. It's the simple ideas that always impress me. I'm really jealous that I didn't come up with that. Really cool. My record is 14
Very fun! I managed to reach 16
Simple, but works well! Do you use any kind of algorithm to select next pieces, or is it a simple random order? I felt like some deals were just impossible, especially when you get the X pentomino. My failures usually felt like they were because of the last two specific pieces, but I think what you want is for the sense of instability to grow inexorably as the tower gets higher. Slightly more planned piece orders might make that more likely?
Simple, but fun and addicting. I have some suggestions - resetting game after failing could be quicker or instant - each piece could have its mass proportional to it's size so the behaviour would be more predictible (e.g. now small 1x1 block behaves same as 2x2 or 1x4)
A classic, nice execution. But a cross is an absolute death sentence. Always like these types of fun high score game in the jam.
really like this, honestly a lot of fun and really well put together, agree with others some pieces make it incredibly challenging but it was still a lot of fun
An amusing falling block game that uses tetris-style blocks.
The music is nice and compliments the many restarts I had to make while playing the game. The smooth camera from your highest reached point back to the start was nice as well.
I wish restarting the game was quicker (e.g. left clicking will force the camera back to the start). It also felt like the starting platform was a bit too small compared to how big the shapes are, but maybe I just need to get good.
Very fun to play, like the effect where the block falls off screen. Also I hate cross piece. Only got up to 11 before giving up. Well done.
While this concept is not unique, it's executed very well. Particle effects, "Best" line and tower panning after game over are nice touches. Also, music and SFX in this one are good. Very nice compo entry!
Hey great job! I actually found your game because our jam entry url had a -2 at the end so I was like "oh someone else had a game of the same name!" and what's even funnier is that our original idea was similar with the tetris pieces (although we decided against it later).
Anyway, nice entry. Simple, clean, and well polished.
Very solid submission! I also went with a Tetris-inspired concept, though I think yours has better mass-appeal than my more casual approach. The blocks are a little grippy (high friction), but definitely know how tricky it is to fine-tune that stuff.
But yeah, great little game overall. Best of luck!
my first thought was "sounds like Tricky Towers" fun game 5/5
This is lovely! I wasn't sure how much fun it was going to be but it was a lovely implementation and really smoothly done. The music was great too.
I like, of course: I took the same approach for my LD49 ...
Yours is more advanced, and Bravo!
Love this approach to the theme, it was fun to play! My suggestion is to split it into levels and maybe to leave some space for a mistake

Pretty fun, but also very difficult. Some pieces, such as the + piece, were basically impossible for me to use.
Nice, simple and relaxing game. Very addictive. The music is nice too. Some of the combination of block are really hard to place. Good job with the game!
I got 20! I was too slow with print screen, so the image is after it fell down :(

This was so good, I also loved the music! Did you make it?
