@peringo I guess that you will be at the top, as usual :)
Super simple but effective idea! I love it!
Very cool game, that would make for a great hypercasual mobile game. Music is nice and fitting. I did have a tendancy to spam the spacebar to stay at a "safe" spot sometimes though. Maybe it would be cool to add powerups or stuff to collect to incentivize the player to move around the loop. Great job !
Very fun to play. The music and gameplay remind me a lot of *Super Hexagon*, but with its own unique spin. If you were to borrow some aesthetic and rhythmic elements this would be a great spiritual successor. Nice work.
@dan-livings thank you for your kind words. If you want a clone of SuperHexagon,I did one. Again there is a leaderboard. Take a look at the link below :

The game is very addictive and the main movement system is really well thought out, you have to keep your reflexes on point! The increasing difficulty also felt fair and the music in the background was really really cool, gave me some space-age style vibes. A sound effect might have been nice for turning, but maybe that's just me. As a hyper-casual game this would do incredibly well on mobile, definitely one I'd download... it is like I say very addicting! Overall, this is a really fun game!
@black-flag Thank you for your kind words and the stream. Yesterday, a few hours before the deadline for compo entries, I added a sound when you change the bullet direction. Do you hear it ?
@Gekoo1337 Oh right, I’ll give it another play and listen out for it!
Hey Geckoo. Sorry to hear about ur tech difficulties. You still managed to pull off a pretty decent game. Too hard for me after 50th second, so I'm probably not getting to the top of the ladder, but who knows? Maybe I'll give it another shot later.
I wanted to ask what do you use to make music, and if you're using any specific sound libraries/sample packs?
Anyway, good job and well done .)
@kuro Thank you for your review. I created the main track using Magix Music Maker and its samples - Miami ++
I'm really not in speed or reflex games, but I managed to go over the minute, so I guess it's OK. You said you was not in the best conditions to work, but, hey, you made a very decent entry here, this is simple, fun, and the music reinforces the (yet already good) mood. And, as said above, there is a leaderboard, so, why would we ask something more? Good job and well done!
The concept is simple, very addictive (and challenging too) and the music is really perfect for this kind of game. And there is a leaderboard ! Unfortunally I'm not very good at this type of game ^^.
1st Place let's gooo :sunglasses:
Scrambled my way all the way up to 7th!! But that's where I fall. Super fun little game, the leaderboard makes it 10x better. great execution, good entry :)
For some reason I was very much reminded of Tunnel 48 :D
Reading about your difficulties this jam makes this entry even better. I admire your ability to create games that are fun first and foremost. I really enjoyed this casual bit of fun. Also I made it to second place yay :D
Man, this game nails everything. It just goes to show that you don't need a ton of mechanics and super flashy graphics to make an engaging game. Great job on this!
nooo I could not get in the leadearboard podium ;( But it was fun to try and improve my score, this game is fairly simple but really addictive ! Well done !
Decent game but I was able to cheeze it with spamming space bar and keeping the circle in one place getting 2nd place with 63secs, maybe have points scored based on amount of loops made? Otherwise good effort and I like the audio track.
@digitaldude555 lol, i can see you smashing the spacebar yelling "suckeeeeers" but still not ending up first.
The music somehow hypnotized me so that I could spend a hell of a time by playing this.
Good game, really good.
It's a bummer for the blackout. I was 1st for about 10 minutes, but I don't think I'll be able to put the time in needed for a #1 spot this time. The game is just RNG after 10 seconds because the dots will be unreactable after that point, so it just feels like a game of luck where you can sometimes "feel the algorithm" a bit to perform better ( as in swapping when the bullets spawn that are coded to intercept your path if you don't swap direction). I think you know all of this well enough so I'll shut up about it; as always very glad to see a functioning leaderboard that still gives that motivation.
Simple idea but super compelling! Ended up spending way more time playing than I anticipated, trying to beat my past scores! Excellent job this was a really fun game :)
That was fun! got 4th place without cheesing. I like the way the game is, but I had the same thought as @digitaldude555 while playing. I think the game could benefit from counting the number of loops and factoring it into the score.
Either way, great entry
Really fun little game. When building a game I always think of grand ideas and plans and have to cut more than half of my ideas by the end to actually get something out. This one was so simple and easy to play, yet very well done and addicting. The difficulty scales up nice and I felt that sense of progression by watching my score increase every second, and the leaderboard is an excellent idea. I need to add one of those into my next jam for sure. Well done!
@peringo I remember the best score before “the black-out” - 91 seconds, but I don't remember the nickname. It was you ? I can put it again manually. Let me know ++
Addictive! The shape made it interesting. The music and sound effects were great too.
Simple and fun. Music was really good. Played enough that I was able to eventually get into the top 10.
Simple concept, but done really well! (especially considering the technical difficulties). Avoiding the squares is hard, but it's really fun and feels fair. The music sounds great and the game actually looks pretty good. Also, the leaderboard is working great for me :D

@peringo Not at all, that was my co-developer (so I guess at least our team still keeps the record, heh ). I didn't realize there was a leaderboard blackout, I mixed up another devs power blackout problem with your computer problems.
@peringo oh OK. I understand now. If you give me the name of your co-dev, I can reintroduce him in the leaderboard. Sn4pi played, but maybe the other one used another nickname...
*(tested on [Stream](https://www.twitch.tv/Vladadamm) 2 days ago )*
A minimalist game with a single basic mechanic and simple graphics but that works pretty well overall and is very addictive. I liked the music loop a lot, though a small issue with it is that it doesn't loop perfectlym the s;qll sfx on the direction change was subtle, just audible enough to notice it if you pay attention but not loud enough to annoy you (that could have been an issue as you need to spam a lot).
I think I had only 59 or something like that during stream. I improved it a bit after 2-3 runs today, and with the current leaderboards high score not far, I had to try and take it. Managed to do 88. Then, I read the comments and saw that the leaderboards had been wiped and there was a 91 at some point. So I had to tryhard a bit more and here's a new record. LoopRecord.png @peringo Sorry, but your team has a new record to beat
@geckoo1337 Regarding the WebGL & Leaderboards issue, I also had issues on my LD46 game and it was due to the way I was making requests to the server. If you're using HttpClient ('normal' c# way to do http requests) it won't work in WebGL, and you have to use UnityWebRequests instead. Don't know if that's what's causing the issue in your case though.
@vladadamm impressive score. What you said makes sense because HttpClient is now deprecated, but I continue to use it. If you know my previous entries for LudumDare, I uses always the same script so as to create a leaderboard on-line. On-the-fly I put it on a empty gameobject and it does the work. Next time I have to modify it especially including UnityWebRequest. This way I can export my games to WebGL. It's always better for tests aand reviews. Sinon, je crois qu'on se voit ce soir :)
