I like the view of the map and it's color scheme.
The art style is funny, but the choice of fonts and notes' colors is really awful, dude. It was merely hard to read.
Otherwise, the main idea is quite interesting and the horse are beautiful.
This was quite fun. The haggle button seemed to be broken after the first time I used it, but beyond that it was really satisfying travelling around and making some dough.
Oh no the haggle button is indeed broken after the first use, was a big part of the game...

Cool idea, but as already stated haggling doesn't work after the first trade and somehow upgrading capacity also doesn't work :(
I really like the idea behind this game and i also like the mini events that happen when travelling. I had fun playing the game until i bought a mercenary with 52 coins. So i had 2 left and i couldnt buy anthing more. I couldnt get any more money. And i think the haggle button is broken. I only could use it for one time.
UI needs more work.
The game needs a goal in my opinion. Play or watch "swindle" for a good example. Gaining wealth should have a purpose.
Nice idea Good Job!
@rynti upgrade capacity works but you can only upgrade it once, I made a mistake and in the game you can buy the upgrade infinity times but you only get the upgrade once.
@teamBallShui Well it says mercenary is 50 coins, the goal of the game was coin management but you can't really lose the game or win it...
@MrErdalUral You are right, this was first time I made a ui heavy game, yeah game doesnt have a goal sadly, I didn't have the energy left to keep going. Swindle seems like completely different game than mine, try to play frontier on kongregate instead.
Although I don't like the graphics and UI, I appreciate your work. Because I only can imagine how to do action games. I see extremely hard to do and balance a game for manage resources.
Nice idea and I like that you've put into so much functionality into the game. That all random events seems to cost money (no positive events as far as I can see?) is a tad boring and makes the looking for events a not such a great idea. Add music, fix the events and give the player more money at the start would've improved the game! :)
Its a good start! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36 games, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/PNJkv1swd3I

The graphics/UI need some work (especially the coins location, I couldn't find it for the first little while), but this a decent little economy game.
I had a bug when I was playing fullscreen which made it so that all the stores were blank and I could only ever see the town background. There are also 2 different fullscreen buttons (one on the itch.io embed, and one in the Unity webgl export). You should probably try to set it up so that you only need one.
Okay so put up a link to the post jam version. The haggle button and upgrade capacity is fixed, plus I added an event that gives you money rather than takes it away.

It is a bit confusing. UI is hard to read and buggy, it needs some work. But the idea is good and it has a wide range of options, you put a lot of effort into ir! Drawings are funny too.
As I see it, I think you would have been able to finish it with more time. I see potential, it would be really interesting to see it developed further :)
