RUIN ESCAPE by reccy 2021-10-03T23:35:05Z

Gives me good baba is you puzzle vibes. Could definitely see it working well with more levels . That last level defeated my tiny post jam brain

Unstable Concoction by theviraldragon 2021-10-04T14:27:20Z

Reminds me of those games where you combine elements into more and more elaborate combinations, can't remember what they were called... The alchemy setting really serves to ground the mechanics, good job there . Ditto on what someone else said about it feeling like there's a broader fantasy world out there, it's a great way of telling a story without overwhelming the player.

RIFT by Pavocado 2021-10-04T00:42:59Z

I love this interpretation of the theme. The puzzles are really clever as well. Great work

-Y- by Iluvatar 2021-10-04T08:28:56Z

It's so pretty! the environment and gameplay style makes me want to explore the world. Interface felt a little slow and it was a bit short but that just means it did its job in making me want more. Great work

CryptoCoaster by the.jahn 2021-10-04T13:02:50Z

Frighteningly realistic, really clever implementation of the theme. Well done :D

U.N.S.T.A.B.L.E by Stefanie Leitch 2021-10-05T06:57:26Z

As others said making multiple minigames is very impressive for 48 hours. I'm a sucker for space settings and robots so I really enjoyed the premise. Nothing really wrong with it that couldn't be adjusted with a little more time. Great work :D

Operation Un-Stable by TheHansinator 2021-10-04T00:34:18Z

It's quite captivating. I love the sound and music, really makes you feel like you're running  Great work, makes me want to pickup pico8 again.

Unstable Them by Jeremy Ryan 2021-10-03T23:21:52Z

I love the little horse jumps. Very cute :racehorse:

Unstable Revisions by ytaha 2021-10-04T08:49:46Z

Super polished for 48 hours. Perfect size for a comp game. Amazing work :D

God Engine by ick 2021-10-04T07:14:46Z

So moody! I really like the way the world forms around you, that and the sound made it delightfully spooky. The ending was cool and made me want to learn more. Great work

Unstable Cargo by N.O. Games 2021-10-05T07:55:42Z

Well done, I like the 'Papers Please' style requests and story elements. Really made the gameplay feel meaningful. Great work :D

Unhitched Isles by MickM 2021-10-04T14:13:12Z

I like how picturesque it is, you did a great job with that given the time constraints :D

There be speedrunning potential here. Great job!

gone. by wafflecomposite 2021-10-05T06:38:00Z

Really impressive, and such a small file size! My 32 MB game is downright monstrous in comparison :stuck_out_tongue: I really liked the progression of dialogue combined with the bullet hell elements. The end was very pretty and drove home the theme. Impressive work :D

Cliff swinger by very high ping 2021-10-04T10:54:58Z

Pretty engaging once you get into a rhythm~

Last Mile by kurrik 2021-10-05T07:37:27Z

Noo don't yell at me delivery boss man. The visuals and gameplay feel very polished and clean. the car controls on keyboard felt a bit volatile but nothing some practise couldn't get over. Great work folks :)

Domi-No-Mercy by squimmy 2021-10-04T07:48:14Z

Good work! The way you can move the environment with bullets makes for some interesting gameplay potential. I can imagine situations where things could get quite tactical in two-player mode  From a code side I liked how you could see the AI choosing its position. Having some map variety is very impressive too. Nice seeing more Godot games :robot:

Unstable "AI" by uboretsky 2021-10-05T09:16:07Z

I love the premise. The idea of getting a really smart but *unstable* AI to manage different aspects of society is interesting :robot: . No complaints that haven't already been addressed. Great work :D

Tables & Tremors by SlimmerBurger 2021-10-04T13:59:00Z

Perfect length! Really lets you get into a rhythm and satisfying to boot! Great work!

Unstable Vampire: A Text based Infinite Runner by Dobryn 2021-10-04T14:04:57Z

Mashing a text adventure with an endless runner is really creative! It's not something I'd ever considered. It was surprisingly tense for something that is really just text. Well done :D

Exploro by MalusKhan 2021-10-04T11:12:04Z

Very cute! I see you've met my cat too. Great work :)

A Curious Case Of Lines by BridgeOnAStick 2021-10-05T05:24:46Z

That was amazing, definitely one of my favourites, great work  There were multiple times I thought to myself "well that's clever". I really liked the way you move around the level to draw the circle at the end. That gave it a nice sense of overall progression and grounding amidst all the perspective shifting. Would definitely play a longer form version of this.

Only criticism might be that often controlling the lines can be finicky as they sometimes go in unexpected directions. But apart from that I really enjoyed the experience.

Better Tomorrows by DzejPi 2021-10-04T07:31:08Z

The letters gave a nice balance to the idle game elements. Likewise adding stuff to do in the forest while waiting for the money to come in kept it engaging. I like the art style, nice work :D

A Hard Pill to Swallow by osh.studio 2021-10-04T12:55:25Z

Challenging but fair. Feels very polished and the perfect length too! Well done, I liked the voice acting :D

Unstable Space by FaberNull 2021-10-04T00:23:07Z

@reccy Thankyou! I really appreciate it

Unstable Space by FaberNull 2021-10-04T06:10:56Z

Thanks @pavocado! Yeah I wish i had more time to playtest and iron out the crashes. Definitely something I want to improve on. But it makes me happy to know you enjoyed what was there

Unstable Space by FaberNull 2021-10-04T06:13:29Z

@ty Thankyou! That's high praise for my frantic scribbles haha. Really appreciate it

Unstable Space by FaberNull 2021-10-04T10:48:14Z

Thankyou @m11 and @holyshot <3

@pavocado and @reccy I've uploaded a more stable version :)

Unstable Space by FaberNull 2021-10-04T14:33:47Z

Thankyou @dzejpi <3, looked into that software and it looks interesting. I can see why you had the association

Cheers @dobryn. I really do appreciate it.

Unstable Space by FaberNull 2021-10-05T03:44:18Z

Thankyou @ethankessler, @itsmebutsolo @bridgeonastick @binaryprinciple and @grumpy-gecko I really appreciate it <3. I'll be sure to check out your games.

I actually had ship multi-selection working briefly by clicking and dragging a box or double clicking to get all of the same kind of ship. But it was just too buggy at the time for me to keep it in. I agree though, once you get a couple of systems it starts to get really tedious

Colour-wise I wanted to have some nebula shaders in the background and give each star a different colour and size based on its luminosity but just couldn't hack it in time.

Unstable Space by FaberNull 2021-10-05T12:56:11Z

@n-o-games Thankyou! I wanted to explore the themes of an unstable and expanding AI and I think 4X kinda lends itself to that. Whether it was wise to attempt at making one is another matter

@purpledartfrog That's a fair assessment. 4X game is probably a more accurate description like N.O Games said. Thanks for your kind words on the art, I think the simplicity helped me out a lot here.

@digitaldude555 Thank you  I think that depth came at a cost to stability haha.

@pvp That means a lot. I was worried it would be a bit too much and get confusing. I tried to make the controls fairly intuitive but some ship selection options and ease of use tweaks would have gone a long way I think. Oh well, lessons for next time

I wanted to flesh out theme more with the enemies being the result of the players unstable systems, but ran out of time unfortunately, so that's a very valid critique

Unstable Space by FaberNull 2021-10-05T14:33:57Z

@masaru That is weird, I'll double check the code involved with that to make sure they're not going after anything outside the system. Thanks for letting me know. :)

Unstable orbit by itsmebutsolo 2021-10-04T11:18:16Z

Great work :) I like the star sprite and the drift movement.

Volatile by Mateu 2021-10-05T07:10:32Z

The progression system really makes it. I can definitely see myself sinking a lot of time into this. I love the visual style as well, the glow has it feeling slick. Great work

Charon by EthanKessler 2021-10-05T05:11:19Z

Nooo come back barrel.

Really good usage of the theme. I like the setting as well, it really makes me want a Far:Lone Sails style game set on a boat like this. Great work :D

Escape Pod by Grumpy Gecko 2021-10-05T05:48:37Z

Short but sweet. I really like the top-down pixel perspective I haven't seen many of those and I know how much work they can be to get right and I think you nailed it. The puzzles were pretty clever and didn't overstay their welcome. I liked the sprites a lot. Great work :D
