Gives me good baba is you puzzle vibes. Could definitely see it working well with more levels . That last level defeated my tiny post jam brain

Reminds me of those games where you combine elements into more and more elaborate combinations, can't remember what they were called... The alchemy setting really serves to ground the mechanics, good job there . Ditto on what someone else said about it feeling like there's a broader fantasy world out there, it's a great way of telling a story without overwhelming the player.
UNFRGH gang
Frighteningly realistic, really clever implementation of the theme. Well done :D
As others said making multiple minigames is very impressive for 48 hours. I'm a sucker for space settings and robots so I really enjoyed the premise. Nothing really wrong with it that couldn't be adjusted with a little more time. Great work :D
It's quite captivating. I love the sound and music, really makes you feel like you're running  Great work, makes me want to pickup pico8 again.
I love the little horse jumps. Very cute :racehorse:
Super polished for 48 hours. Perfect size for a comp game. Amazing work :D
So moody! I really like the way the world forms around you, that and the sound made it delightfully spooky. The ending was cool and made me want to learn more. Great work
Well done, I like the 'Papers Please' style requests and story elements. Really made the gameplay feel meaningful. Great work :D
I like how picturesque it is, you did a great job with that given the time constraints :D

There be speedrunning potential here. Great job!
Really impressive, and such a small file size! My 32 MB game is downright monstrous in comparison :stuck_out_tongue: I really liked the progression of dialogue combined with the bullet hell elements. The end was very pretty and drove home the theme. Impressive work :D
Pretty engaging once you get into a rhythm~
Good work! The way you can move the environment with bullets makes for some interesting gameplay potential. I can imagine situations where things could get quite tactical in two-player mode  From a code side I liked how you could see the AI choosing its position. Having some map variety is very impressive too. Nice seeing more Godot games :robot:
I love the premise. The idea of getting a really smart but *unstable* AI to manage different aspects of society is interesting :robot: . No complaints that haven't already been addressed. Great work :D
Perfect length! Really lets you get into a rhythm and satisfying to boot! Great work!
Mashing a text adventure with an endless runner is really creative! It's not something I'd ever considered. It was surprisingly tense for something that is really just text. Well done :D
That was amazing, definitely one of my favourites, great work  There were multiple times I thought to myself "well that's clever". I really liked the way you move around the level to draw the circle at the end. That gave it a nice sense of overall progression and grounding amidst all the perspective shifting. Would definitely play a longer form version of this.
Only criticism might be that often controlling the lines can be finicky as they sometimes go in unexpected directions. But apart from that I really enjoyed the experience.
The letters gave a nice balance to the idle game elements. Likewise adding stuff to do in the forest while waiting for the money to come in kept it engaging. I like the art style, nice work :D
Challenging but fair. Feels very polished and the perfect length too! Well done, I liked the voice acting :D
@reccy Thankyou! I really appreciate it
Thanks @pavocado! Yeah I wish i had more time to playtest and iron out the crashes. Definitely something I want to improve on. But it makes me happy to know you enjoyed what was there
@ty Thankyou! That's high praise for my frantic scribbles haha. Really appreciate it
Thankyou @m11 and @holyshot <3
@pavocado and @reccy I've uploaded a more stable version :)
Thankyou @dzejpi <3, looked into that software and it looks interesting. I can see why you had the association
Cheers @dobryn. I really do appreciate it.
Thankyou @ethankessler, @itsmebutsolo @bridgeonastick @binaryprinciple and @grumpy-gecko I really appreciate it <3. I'll be sure to check out your games.
I actually had ship multi-selection working briefly by clicking and dragging a box or double clicking to get all of the same kind of ship. But it was just too buggy at the time for me to keep it in. I agree though, once you get a couple of systems it starts to get really tedious
Colour-wise I wanted to have some nebula shaders in the background and give each star a different colour and size based on its luminosity but just couldn't hack it in time.
@n-o-games Thankyou! I wanted to explore the themes of an unstable and expanding AI and I think 4X kinda lends itself to that. Whether it was wise to attempt at making one is another matter
@purpledartfrog That's a fair assessment. 4X game is probably a more accurate description like N.O Games said. Thanks for your kind words on the art, I think the simplicity helped me out a lot here.
@digitaldude555 Thank you  I think that depth came at a cost to stability haha.
@pvp That means a lot. I was worried it would be a bit too much and get confusing. I tried to make the controls fairly intuitive but some ship selection options and ease of use tweaks would have gone a long way I think. Oh well, lessons for next time
I wanted to flesh out theme more with the enemies being the result of the players unstable systems, but ran out of time unfortunately, so that's a very valid critique
@masaru That is weird, I'll double check the code involved with that to make sure they're not going after anything outside the system. Thanks for letting me know. :)
Great work :) I like the star sprite and the drift movement.
Nooo come back barrel.
Really good usage of the theme. I like the setting as well, it really makes me want a Far:Lone Sails style game set on a boat like this. Great work :D
Short but sweet. I really like the top-down pixel perspective I haven't seen many of those and I know how much work they can be to get right and I think you nailed it. The puzzles were pretty clever and didn't overstay their welcome. I liked the sprites a lot. Great work :D
