Fun one!

sir-onionknight 2021-10-03 18:39

I spent probably far longer trying to figure out the first jump because I didn't read the game page's instructions than I should have lol. Good job.

Lol i got one of the platforms on the lavaUNSTABLE 3.10.2021 22.35.32-min.png

Nice game, I liked the graphics. Didn't make past the 5th platform though I believe ahah

big-play-ben 2021-10-04 05:46

Yay! I beat the game. Great job. I got super determined at the end. It helped when I realized I could start sprinting after I jumped. Would love to see more levels, sfx, and a bit softer difficulty curve :D

There be speedrunning potential here. Great job!

jk5000 2021-10-04 09:15

Remember to make the game public on itch.

holyshot 2021-10-04 09:20

@jk5000 does it work now?

jk5000 2021-10-04 09:22

Yes, it do.

jk5000 2021-10-04 09:31

The games visuals is overall pretty good, and I like the music. My ninja abilities is not high enough for this kind of game, but I did still had fun trying it.

Really impressive - fits the theme perfectly

Nice, a 1st person platformer! Those are weirdly rare. Real fun! I like how unbalancing the platforms makes it easier to reach certain spots but also harder to stay on it. I found the music a bit irritating since it was a very short loop and didn't really seem to fit the game, but it's a fun bassline. One thing that I thought was weird is that you can stick to walls if you walk towards them while falling, even though it helped me in the last level I don't know if it was intentional. :d

Cool game, I was about to lose it until I realized you could sprint haha makes a huge difference. Had fun after I figured that out and the game fits the theme well.

Good idea for the jam and fun and challenging first person platform jumping game. Really like the texture graphics too, nice work

Fun game! This is a pretty nice 3D platformer, I think, primarily because it's pretty straightforward. The physics are easy enough to get used to and there's no complicated camera in the way of the platforming because it's first person.

I really like the unstable platforms because they serve as fine hazards but also as very useful platforming tools. Tilting the platform down and then sprinting off the high end of it is super effective, which also makes it a lot of fun. In particular, it feels rewarding to make a jump like this because I have to do it in multiple steps, so even if those steps are objectively not that hard for me to perform, it still feels like I'm doing something cool.

I don't know if it's really necessary for the game to have a sprint key--it might make sense to just have a single speed that is equal to the current sprinting speed--but it isn't a problem. It is also true that requiring me to hold the shift key does make me feel like I'm doing something more sophisticated, even if it really is pretty simple.

dreamerflow 2021-10-12 11:32

Good concept, i like it, a little hard and to much unstable lol

reheated 2021-10-13 14:56

Fun. Tricky. I found the second level easier than the first, or maybe I got lucky. Why not make it always sprint? The music is too short.

ideaspersecond 2021-10-15 01:57

I really liked how you interpreted the theme here! I like how you have to use the instability of the various platforms to win!

Very Nicely Done!

python-b5 2021-10-17 02:24

I like the idea and the puzzle-y gameplay - wasn't expecting that going in! I thought that maybe the player moved a bit too slowly, but overall, nice work :)
