In the middle of playing i was just thinking what does this have to do with the theme???? And then i just tought about the fact that i was destroying stables and was uning them, i literally laughed out loud. Great pun!

@ildenh Thank you! The idea just kinda hit me like a truck when I saw the Twitter post. Originally I was also going to put cows or other horses in the stables, so that you would also be "unstabling" them. I imagine you could also make something more pensive with that pun, like a teen setting a childhood horse free in the middle of the night or something.
It's quite captivating. I love the sound and music, really makes you feel like you're running :grin: Great work, makes me want to pickup pico8 again.

Funnily enough this was my first time writing music for a game - for everything else I've done, either another team member wrote music or I just didn't have any. I'm glad PICO-8 has such a friendly sequencer.

Really nice game! I loved the premise and the music. I also liked the speed of the game - it really felt like going very fast while also been responsive enough most of the time due to the warning signs. There were a few times where I passed through a stable, and I felt like moving up/down was slightly too slow, but otherwise, great entry! My highscore was 1900.
Hah very clever, I like it :) I would have liked the stables to come a little more frequently, and maybe have a timer on the indicator so you know which one is closer? But yeah, fun little game. Nice job!
Break stables ha ve fun, checks out hahah. This game is simplicity at its finest, the music, the graphics, the speed of the game, everything. Also, not sure if on purpose, but the sound of the horse steps seems to be in sync with the music and works out as percusion. Great job, loved it
straightforward interpretation! I enjoyed this game, it almost felt like a rhythm game towards the end with the timing being so close to allow for hitting all the stables that spawn. nice!
