I like this idea, it felt like an arcade game I'd use to kill a few hours online but still fit the theme. Nicely done!

I think some audio and visual feedback would help make this more interesting. I really like the idea for the game, but watching sliders move back and forth wasn't terribly satisfying. I like the faces you have, but I would push that visual feedback even further.
Nice work :)
I feel like more emphasis on the theme would help. Maybe a background story to play up the sacrifice?
It's a good start imo, lots of room for improvement into a bigger game. I think the fun of the game comes from fighting and taking people to sacrifice--so I would put more emphasis on that. More ways to combat? Different types of upgrades? New types of enemies to fight? Like I said, it's a great start and certainly fits the theme :)
Wow, I gotta say I really liked this. Good use of the theme, and GREAT gameplay! Well done.
Love this! Genuinely enjoyed playing :) There were a couple of glitches here and there when I shot the cannon at full power... the body would fly everywhere!
My main criticism is a small one: the edge of the level was off the screen, so it was difficult to move the character (when standing) by a click to move mechanic. May be just make the exit point visible on screen?
Well done!!
Nicely done! The platforming was a bit glitchy at times, which broke my immersion. I think it's a solid idea though, and with some polish it would certainly hold its own on a site like Nitrome :)
Well done! Very polished and genuinely fun. I love the use of the theme, too.
Never made it to the ending, I got bogged down with all my dead ants. LOL It felt more like a simulation that a game (which is valid, but not my style). Maybe if the controls were more responsive? As in, it more directly affected the movement of the ball? Also I kinda got annoyed by the dead ants but I liked the fact I could see them. Their sacrifice shall not be forgotten! RIP
Hey man, I enjoyed your game! I got a good chuckle out of the goat gun.
I tried a couple times but didn't win, I think adding another game mechanic to keep things interesting would be good.
I also noticed you can jump off the level and fall (seemingly) infinitely... probably want to patch that up. :P
Overall good idea. It fit the theme and with some polish would be really fun!
Well done! Looks nice and the mechanic fits the theme really well. Solid submission!
I like the main game mechanic! Good use of the theme :) I think a little more difficulty ramping would be nice, as well as more clarity on the title screen. Nice entry!
Dude, this was amazing! I enjoyed my playthrough a lot. I forgot it was made for the jam and just enjoyed playing it. The glitchy graphics, the intense audio and visuals, the humor, the dark and impactful ending... loved it all.
My most highly rated game of this jam!
Nice! This feels like a game I would download on my phone and play too much.
@madjackmcmad Thank you! Haha sequel idea noted ;)
@shiqichuan Many thanks! :D
@jackson-makes-games thanks for the feedback! I agree there needs to be some kind of difficulty ramping, and that will be the first thing I work on if I pick it up again. I appreciate your thoughts!
Nice work! I like the art in the game, and you hit the theme right on the head.
