This game is hilarious. But it misses any interaction and it feels like anything i did, did not matter at all. Nevertheless it was kind of fun to play. Good Job!

Not sure about how the interaction really affects the game. But this is a very cute game, love it ;)
@LooksLikeSomething There is actually a hidden variable that increases and decreases your love rating, though I can understand how it doesn't seem to affect anything. Thank you for the kind comment!
What two genres are these? Dating dogs is kinda weird... but ok.
@Connell It's Nintendogs/Life sim and dating sim.
Cool and weird! If you have time, try my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/rts-shooting
Cool game man......also do check our game https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/boomball
That was a silly game, but I get what you were going for. The dating part was pretty amusing, I liked all of the art for the dog during that part. I think a little more feedback on what we need to do to get to the dating stage would have really helped make it more intuitive, a lot of times dating games will have an affection meter visible for example. I noticed the failed text for the play action also seemed to get stuck and not disappear like the other messages, but that's a pretty minor bug. It was neat to play a flash game, it definitely takes me way back to when I used to make them.
Congratulations on finishing your first LD game ! It's a big challenge to make a game alone in such a short amount of time.
Your art style is minimalist but it totally fits your game, well done on that part. I know you didn't make the music but it's a good choice nonetheless. Were did you find it ? I like the way your chose to interpret the theme, and I know some people will think it's just a dating game, but in my opinion LD themes are meant to be twisted a little bit. And mixing dating with dogs is quite incompatible to me ! So very good job on that part. The first thing I would change however is add some text to say that the player needs to press "space" in order to continue. Honestly I was very close to not even try your game because I thought it was a glitch with flash that I couldn't click. Even for a simple game, always tell the player what to do, never let them guess.
Also, like others mentioned, it's really hard to see how well we are doing on that hidden love variable. I understand you want to keep it hidden, but then maybe just give some visual feedback on the dog every 25%, like on the eyes or mouth and finally some blushing ?
Very good job overall, keep making games ! Ho and rate more games, it would be a shame not to have those 20 ratings.
@SpaceMonkey Thank you for the amazing feedback! I will definitely be coming back to this comment next time I do the jam! Also, you're able to find it (I can't) I did some of the art in Cole and Jordan Studio's game Bullet Hell Dating Sim. Anyways, thanks for the feedback and for playing my game!
@ursagames Thanks for pointing out that bug! I'll make sure to test that next time! Also, thanks for the feedback! It's really helpful for creating an overall better game. Thank you for playing my game!
That was pretty funny! Aim of the game is a little confusing though. I'm also a few ratings short, my game isn't too long so if you have a minute to spare, that would be great :grin:
Super cute! Keep it up! :slight_smile:
@vilix64 Thank you!
This game is very strange, you did well with the audio, art was okay. It's a pretty creative idea for the theme would never have thought of that. Needed more indication of how things were going I was just clicking random things til I won.
@digitaldude555 Thanks for the feedback!
I enjoyed a lot playing this game. Really the hard work is visible. Well done.
Btw if u wanna try out my game, here is the link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/memebumps
Great job! This is a really funny concept for a game. I found it a bit confusing at first, but once I started to understand what was going on I quite enjoyed it :) I don't think I've seen a Ludum Dare entry made in Scratch before – it's cool to see the variety of different game engines people are using.
Very cute idea. The graphics are adorable.
If you want to check our game out and help us reach 20 votes, that would be nice. c:

@Tom Panton thanks for the awesome feedback! I'm starting to work with Unity, but until I get the hang of it, my jams will be made in Scratch!
Hey! Thats cute. I hope you keep working on your art skills, we need prettier things! I saw the other comments, really, take a look at Unity, you can create some amazing stuff in there with little knowledge and work!
Also, take a look at my game, I hope you'll find it interesting! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/last-stand
It's cute! Needs more instructions of the controls though. I didn't know you had to press space to start the game fully. I got the dog in the end, though. The dialogue is funny.
@tastelikecoke Thanks for the feedback! I'll make sure to add more instructions next time I make a game for Ludum Dare.
