The idea is okay, the game was a bit too fast for me. It's a bit confusing at first with the choices but you get into it. I would have preferred if you could actually keep driving and hit the choices.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD43 → Learn to be a self stopper!

It's a great idea, and I would love to see this as a polished and finished game. The core concept itself is very interesting, however I agree that the presentation is a bit quick and I didn't fully understand what was going on I'm first playthrough. Good job and best of luck!
Actually the concept is really interesting ! With much time it could be something. The UI is really too simple in my opinion. But I was a bit lost when playing, I didn't know if I was doing it right or not.
I'd honestly like it more if I could watch the car run over the people whose lives I decided were less important.
EDIT: Very enjoyable philosophical dilemmas though.
I agree with the keep driving thing make the choices as you see them, good take on the theme but my big gripe is when I finished the game no way to replay it and there didnt seem to be a quit button, had to close it in task manager.
First play through I had no idea what to do. Good concept well worth pursuing.
I love this take on the trolley problem, if it were expanded upon I would suggest making the scenarios progressively more absurd with choices between cats and dogs, ninjas and samurai, and Batman vs Superman.
Fun game! If you were to continue this game, random level generation would make this game sooooooo much more fun, with random choices.
The idea is about a real life topic that SHOULD be discussed more! I'm happy to see games (or game jam entries) already tackling this. Big thumbs up for making it!
One thing is missing... Show the player the outcome simulation of the choices. ;)
I hate when people redirect me to itch.io. Sorry havent tried your game.
Nice idea, good joke in the end. But there is something missing. Like actually driving around. You are just seeing a short clip and then decide. The topic is pretty important, I actually wrote some academic object recognition and pose estimation software for autonomous agriculture vehicles, where some test objects where children, playing hide and seek next to a tractor. Good people are talking about this.
I liked the idea! Looks to me like you were a bit pressed for time, though (as also evidenced by your own game description  )
I'd have loved to see this taken further. Perhaps actually showing the consequences of your actions, or having your choices result in a different newspaper headline depending on what you did (I played the game twice very differently and got the same newspaper...).
Also, methinks your UI is a tad bit borked on different resolutions. I'm not sure what resolution you tested on, but this is what it looks like on a 2650x1440 monitor:

I'm thinkin' the anchors for the text should be set to expand the text box as the window size increases. That should fix it right up!
Curious if you plan on expanding on this further. :) Sounds like there's a lot of things you'd have like to have done with this project, had you had more time.
