Oh sorry.i forgot to mention that. Just press spacebar to shoot a bullet which will push the astroid upward. Keep it upward to get points
It would be good to strenghten the asteroid over time.
After a while it was easy to find a pattern to keep the asteroid up indefinitely. Something to make it more challenging would have been nice.
I made a similar game with meteors destroying a city. ^_^
Great visuals and nice game mechanic I like it, but it feels you have to make it more difficult over time. This can be expanded with more content I like simple arcade games.
Well it is actually my first game jam. And also me and my team spent way too much time thinking up the idea. This was a feature we thought of. But we kinda ran out of time.

Really simple, but gets repetitive after a while
A nice, simple game! It would've been nice if maybe the asteroid got "heavier" after a while so that the game itself became more challenging. Something else that could've been nice would've been if the score counter was something else than how much time had passed, maybe give score based on how many times you hit the asteroid? :) Overall I enjoyed your game a lot!
I really like this graphics with 3D effect, but this gameplay not too good, anyway good job =)

A good start to a game. The basic mechanics are done but now more needs to be put into game play... there is a lot of potential.. - increasing the mass of the asteroid - decreasing the number of fired bullets and therefore you have to fire more often - give score bonuses for keeping the asteroid on the screen - set up proximity zones on the screen that change the score multiplier while the asteroid is in them
As it is the "game" is very repetitive and accept for falling asleep one can get the interval of firing bullets down to a pattern so you will never lose. I went until 10 minutes and then gave up.
The background music is a good match, actually used it to set my timing. The graphics are very simple (layers of the same shape in different colours) but it works. This has the potential to be a great little game... keep going on it and good luck.
Good game! I wish it were more like juggling (moving left to right), instead of just timing, but I enjoyed it! :)
I like the core idea but the game needs a few more mechanics. Like lateral movement or additional meteors over time. Something more than just press space every second or so and you will last forever. Good idea though!
Congrats on your first jam guys, this is just the beginning of your game dev journey. I have to be honest though, it needs work, maybe juggle multiple asteroids around, as it stands now this game has no challenge to it. Still you followed the theme well. With my rating you will get the 20 you need.
