Good job! I liked the use of years as the currency. As you say, it is a little confusing until you understand the rules, but that's true of all card games. If you carry it on some on screen prompts would be helpful for getting started. Certainly unique though and I enjoyed my time playing it!

@octopoid If me and @akand will be working on this game postjam, we'll add a tutorial for sure. We just had no time to add this during the jam, that's why we had to just write the rules (we litterally finished the game 3 minutes before the gamejam ended :3). Anyway thanks for positive review.

Great game. The systems are well defined and interesting. The art and sound design is great. The game could use some more mechanics that lend themselves to player choice. Right now it seems like there's generally an objectively best move and there aren't a lot of interesting decisions to be made. I would also prefer the rounds to be longer, but that's more personal preference. Great job!

Its interesting, very literal take on the theme, your life is currency. I like the music it fits the game and I like graphics. The game play has some depth but it doesnt seem very strategic a lot of it is based on luck and I feel like going second in this game gives you an advantage. Good job.

Like your game, I'm a big fan of card games and this one looks really interesting! Send be a beta-test invitation on a postjam period, please :)

Nice art and music. It's a cool idea that needs a bit of balancing and maybe a hitpoint counter instead of a set total number of turns. Winning feels based on luck right now since the Ai gets the last turn. There really isn't much advantage to "killing" their cards right now since they usually just beat you on points on their next turn since you wasted yours not placing down points. Also I suggest having a click option that places the cards from your hand on the table instead of drag and drop.

That was great. Solid mechanic and I really like the artwork on the cards. Decided to stop after a score of 158. It seems quite dependant on the luck of the draw but there is certainly some strategy involved. The end turn button and bet buttons could do with being highlighted on mouse over, took a while to figure out how to start. Also the turn counter seems odd, usually such counters count the round rather than individual players turns.

Nice idea. But somehow I don't feel like you have much influence to the game. You always play your best cards, because you start and you dont save cards for the next bet. So you can't even get some strategics going :/ I think by more rounds and more cards on the hand it could get a lot more strategic.

I enjoyed that game! The artwork was great, and the concept, though simple, was enough to keep my interest. I liked that there were cards of each element that had different values. Not sure that the song fit, but I get what you were going for and you opted out of audio, so no biggy there anyway. It would be interesting to see what you could do with this post jam.

Interesting game, kept me playing a lot longer than most of the other games. I guess that's because I set myself the goal of reaching 2000. I think it could use some improved interactions like maybe ctrl + click to auto place cards, and the ability to bet more than one coin per click (Trying to bet large amounts is difficult). Overall it was pretty fun and had some interesting gameplay. Cool game!

Very cool that you completed an effective card game. I like the art, the UI is pretty decent, obviously could use better sounds and animations but hey it's a jam. I don't think you should have the ability to play on top of your own cards, since that's purely negative - maybe for longer games when your table is already full, sure, but not as is. The AI does it sometimes, lol. The game itself isn't great; there's very little in the way of strategy and the winner is almost exclusively determined by who draws higher numbers, the AI seems to have a built-in advantage in going second (though it rarely takes advantage of that even when it should), and there's no basis on which to make betting decisions (maybe let you bet after seeing your first hand?). Thanks, it was fun figuring it out, though!

Nice job pulling off a card game! Once you understand the rules, it's pretty fun to play. The music was good, too.

GOOD - The art is quite good - I like the fact that you did a card game - Betting years of life is a cool way to do the theme

BAD - Should be able to click the coins faster to bet. The delay is annoying when I am going to be 96 years old. - The opponent doesn't have a score, there doesn't seem to be a way to win? Just keep playing. - All Betting happens before you have any idea what cards you have.
