Yeah, game was alright. The theme is definitely in there. It's a little difficult to push people off, every time I get close to the edge I die. Maybe you could make it so you have to actually fall off before you're considered dead.
Great game, it's really fun. Brilliant idea, kind of reminds me of FTL with the whole crew / manning systems thing (which is a really good thing). excellent visuals and audio. decent level of challenge. I will definitely keep playing. It matches the theme quite well. quite a good experience in general, not just for a 72 hour game. Good job!
Maybe you could provide a little more depth by having combat and oxygen linked. So like, if you breathe fire it would use up some oxygen. And maybe you wouldn't be able to fill your oxygen as you're breathing fire. So you would have to find a balance between doing damage and staying alive. Might make combat a little more interesting. The name of the game is project breathe, maybe having the two breath related mechanics be more closely related could add something.

Great game, it was very fun and full of action. The concept is cool and the theme is incorporated into the gameplay very well. The game's art and sound design are very detailed and really juicy! Good job to everyone who worked on the project.

@puppetmaster I just didn't really see the life as currency, that's all. I thought of it more like ammo because there is a direct relationship between how many hearts you have and how many shots you have. Maybe it would have been more related to the theme if you had implemented a shop like system where hearts and shots were separate things, but shots could be purchased in exchange for hearts. This would make your life more of a currency. I actually think the way you did it is quite elegant and well designed, and the addition of a shop might compromise the nice simplicity of the game. I think that it's very well done, but the theme implementation is a little foggy.
Cool game! I liked the style of it, and the visuals and audio really contribute to that. The little scenarios were quite fun too.
Decent game. The music was really well done. The game has an interesting risk / reward trade off, and the boss telegraphs his attacks before doing them, which is good.

I understand that this was a compo entry, so good job for putting yourself out there and making something! The first complaint I have is that the basic "Chasing" AI encourages a lot of backwards movement, and when some enemies / obstacles are behind you it doesn't really work that well because you can't see where you're going. The fire rate in general I think is pretty slow, coupled with the lack of sensitivity control makes combat feel like hip firing a sniper rifle. Maybe add like a crowd control weapon (high fire rate or area of effect attack) which could deal low damage but allow you to get away from crowds of enemies. The art was fine, and the music was amusing. I also felt the jump was not very useful, if something doesn't contribute a lot to the core gameplay, just leave it out. **Key takeaways:** - If your AI encourages a certain play style, make sure that doesn't lead to hard to avoid deaths. - Focus on making core mechanics as fun as possible, while leaving unnecessary things out. - Keep making games! Nothing beats experience.

Decent game. You really need to balance how you spend your money. Should maybe be able to hover over character or something to see everything contributing to their poor condition. Other than that, pretty good
Very nice. The visuals and sounds were amazing, and the gameplay was fun. I found the movement a bit weird. It made it hard to avoid damage while trying to shoot at enemies. Maybe having it be WASD or something would have made it more enjoyable for me, but overall pretty good!

Interesting game, kept me playing a lot longer than most of the other games. I guess that's because I set myself the goal of reaching 2000. I think it could use some improved interactions like maybe ctrl + click to auto place cards, and the ability to bet more than one coin per click (Trying to bet large amounts is difficult). Overall it was pretty fun and had some interesting gameplay. Cool game!

Nice interpretation of the theme. I agree about the delay between shots, it feels a little long. The enemy designs are varied and each offer a unique challenge. There are plenty of places where you can take an extra risk to get an extra reward of coins which is pretty good.
Should probably have more feedback for actions, but overall pretty decent.
