This was really enjoyable, a quick onscreen flash of instructions would help it be a fantastic entry!

The game might seem unfinished to you, but in my eyes it's pretty polished nonetheless. The platforming feels right, which is not always the case in gamejam games. The throwing is nice too, I had no problem throwing things and landing on them. The level design was interesting, although you said it yourself, it lacks a bit of content. Very good entry ! Congrats on the game :)
I know one thing this game destroyed me in a good way! I don't know how to leave this room at all :) 1.jpg I see you got a lot of inspiration from Spelunky and I love that. And especially the changing levels were a Highlight for me!
Kudos to you man, you made such a good game :)
Good use of theme. The controls had a bit of issues in a few ways: - one logic to determine throw was odd, I had to kind of struggle until I got an angle I liked. I think you were moving an aiming point, but angle and throw distance would be more intuitive. - There is bug that when picking up characters, often times I could not move until I dropped them and picked them up. - I fumbled on the controls a lot. The three buttons didn't click well for me. It's not that I can't play games with many buttons, but the controls didn't feel very distinct. I think the controls could have boiled down to a single button. tap to grab and drop, hold to throw.
Fun, intelligent, and inspired. Sadly like @dzmitry-pukhouski I was blocked. Is this a bug or am I crap?
Thank you all for your feedback!
@acaral @dzmitry-pukhouski Actually that's intended as it was the last level I managed to get done before running out of time. I've only now just realised that the version I published still has a glitch where the text messages only appear once, which I did fix before publishing but I got the files mixed up. There was supposed to be a message in that room to explain the sudden end. Whoops.
"There was supposed to be a message in that room to explain the sudden end" --> original^^. Well done.
Nice game!
Maybe some introductions or help at the game start and a end at the last level can polish the game in the good way, but anyway its a jam and I can understand that you didnt had the time for this.
I realy enjoyed the concept and the graphics works perfectly!
Thanks for the game ;)
Great entry!
The core mechanics are here but there are two little bugs I found (I played the original version): - I fell next to spikes where a guy was dead and couldn't move or jump, only change direction. It seems that the dead body prevented me from moving (afterlife revenge I guess :D). - when an arrow doesn't kill anybody, you die simply by walking on it.
Other than those bugs and the music a little bit too repetitive, I really enjoyed the gameplay and the graphics. Wish there was more levels and more blood (just like when you are crushed by a giant boulder!). Good job!
The visuals were well done in this game! I loved the pixel art and I thought the animations were pretty decent. I also liked that light around the player-- it really added to the mood. Although the music got a little repetitive after a while, it was still pretty good; I do wish there had been more sound effects, though. The use of the theme wasn't bad. As far as gameplay, there could be some small adjustments. The money seems pointless since you regain explorers after restarting the level, so it would be nice if there was more purpose to it. The controls are really smooth, but they do take just a little time to get used to. I did come across some bugs, but none of them were game breaking, so it didn't affect my overall enjoyment of the game. Last, but not least, I really liked the death sequence. The snapshot of the player's death was a nice touch and I found the punchlines amusing! There are a few little things that could be improved, but overall this is a great entry! Well done!
I like the concept a lot, it fits the theme very well. It was fun figuring out how to beat the level although some levels were more tedious than others. The characters I think look pretty good. Over all very good only problem the looping sound gets annoying.
I loved!! That's a great game bro, good graphics, good music, I loved the final level :D
