Mouse in da house ppl!

matlahvi 2016-12-13 13:57

I've liked the animation, the mouse looks so cute ^^ I had some problems with colliders, though ;_;

Good idea, anyway!

red_fan-games 2016-12-13 22:15

Be carefoul!

etherealpsychegames 2016-12-13 22:25

@Red_Fan games
Sorry! It was too late and we were sooo tired xDDD

leondryaso 2016-12-13 22:27

The collision boxes and movement didn't go quite well, did they? I really like the art and music though :)

uliana-galich 2016-12-13 22:28

Super . I like, real cartoon.Amazing work.Ave Ceasar

michalidis 2016-12-13 22:59

The game looks amazing, cute and the music is fitting it well that I could play it for much longer time.
Unfortunately I wasn't even able to get past the second level, most likely due to my incompetence of solving the puzzle :/

psychomonster 2016-12-13 23:25

Awwwww... is that cute. I love the love you put into the nice cartoon-like game... the controlls seems to be a little problematic but polishing ios overrated! All other Concepts of the game are fitting well. Good job!

Nice animations, fun little platformer. Slight issue with hitbox colliders being larger than the thing you are colliding with in some places

etherealpsychegames 2016-12-14 12:28

Our poor programmer are now crying in a corner singing softly "colliders, colliders, colliders everywhere".

digitaldude555 2016-12-14 12:37

Art looks amazing and the rat animation, I liked what you did with level selection and menus. Gameplay was interesting but I had some problems with colliders like matlahvi said and the cat noticed you too fast some times.

firellon 2016-12-14 17:01

Graphics looks really nice!

fidrik 2016-12-14 20:10

Some issues with collisions, found myself trying to jump over certain objects for ages. Cool theme, really liked the mouse art. Lots of levels as well, which was pretty cool. Overall good job :)

jk5000 2016-12-14 20:16

The game is super cute. But personally i would have prefered that you have made less levels and instead have put more work into making the game work. But overall well done.

bloodjohn 2016-12-14 20:22

Beautiful pictures. Cheerful music. Need to work on platformer mechanics.

n00basaurus 2016-12-14 20:36

I like the "better mouse trap" idea and the stand alone art was good.

Buggy character controller made the game unplayable. Animations between running and jumping are at two different speeds which made the much slower running mode obsolete. There was also an issue with climb not recognizing the appropriate activation status at the correct times leaving me stuck on the floor or table top in climb position with no way to return to normal.

Menus were a little too vague causing an accidental application quit as it wasn't appropriately labeled as such.

etherealpsychegames 2016-12-14 20:47

@n00basaurus
Well it's true our mechanic are buggy, we are trying to focus on it. Different speed between animations are intentionally different (because we thought that a horizontal jump from a mouse is larger than running). Perhaps it makes "obsolete" the running mechanic but if it is obsolete, why we have a jump/walk mechanic in platforms games? xD

Anyway, programming need more work and less levels probably.

Thanks for the feedback.

Lovely game! SO cute! The collision doesn't seem to work properly. But good work!! Keep going!

misaghdroid 2016-12-15 15:35

good job

bumblepie 2016-12-17 03:47

The art style is adorable, but as others have said, the platforming feels super weird as it's unclear where the colliders are

docjekyll 2016-12-30 05:48

Charming game.
Cute art and music and a fair number of features for a game jam game. Some more clarity on the mechanics would have been nice (e.g. where is the cat going to look before it activates?) but it was really fun regardless.
Great work!
