Fun game. :)
As they said: you don't get my 5 on overall because of the non following of the theme. Otherwise excellent!
Ah, this is nice. A very complete and "game-y" game. (Gamefulness is one of the top qualities I look for in a game, you see.)
I did find it difficult. You don't have long to do each level, and I ended up giving up at the part with the bouncing saws -- there's just too little room for error, and it's hard to see where they're going to go next.
Your interpretation of the theme is very loose here, almost feels like a cop-out.
Despite all that, though, I enjoyed your game immensely. All the splattering and general chaos was great fun.
Excelent game... The only thing I didn't like was the sawblades... added a too-random element to the gameplay, they move too fast and are almost unavoidable if they happen to come your way...
Goddamn that blob is cute. I just want to hug him OH GOD WHY AM I BLEEDING
Love the name, the game is fun to play and the music is excellent.
The only problem I have is the difficulty. It suddenly increases a lot.
Very polished and fun game. I did find the part with the moving sawblades unfair and quit there, too. But it was fun up to that.
Graphics are very nice, little to criticize in that department. Controls feel fluid and fun.
That tune... I still can't decide whether it's just a bit too weird, but I'm giving you the benefit of doubt :)
I'm not too keen on how you incorporated the theme, but otherwise a very fine entry.
Fun game, pretty tough after the first several levels. Not sure how it relates to the theme though.
Not very theme-y, but one of the most complete games in this contest.
Nice graphics, being able to destroy a bunch of stuff and having it leave a mess is nice. I didn't really like the music though and it was too hard for me, I gave up after the saws.
1250 points. Not sure what I could have done to improve on that though, as there was no clear scoring mechanism (at least none that I noticed in the carnage). At least I beat the game.
Graphics are nice, gameplay is mostly fun and smooth except for some nasty bits of level design. The near-instant restart helps make it more tolerable though.
Music is mostly okay but the main melody could have used a more restricted scale to make it sound less random.
This was punishing (damn you, saw blades) but I won it... that was a very catchy song you created by the way, don't think I'll get that out of my head.
Could have benefited from tweaking difficulty a bit, but that could be said for pretty much every entry I guess...
Aww, very good use of particles :)
The laser cannons are really hard.
Not much by way of theme (I get it, but... you know). Really hard! And rather frustrating. The first level with the yellow barriers was really overwhelming and took a lot of tries. It was 1 or 2 rooms past that where I had to give up.
The instructions lie, by the way! They say it's "click and you go shooting off in that direction", when holding is how it really works. Click, like a game of pool, could be quite interesting, and fits the idea of the pent-up kinetic energy better.
I'm giving a higher rating in the "theme" category than most probably will, because I know that the game was designed from the start to be a deliberate attempt to do something interesting and unexpected with the theme, rather than just a cop-out.
Ohhh lovely blob...great entry even that it is not much of the theme in it.
Great work for 48hrs nice one!
Much like the other commenters, I don't think the theme isn't really there. But you know, I can only complain so much about that...
Great game. Very difficult. But Happy Blob loves me after all. Awww... :D
Gameplay, graphics and sound are all awesome.
As usual, an excellent entry from you! :)
mmmm particle blood. I'm amazed at the amount of levels you managed to fit into the 48 hours frankly. All the room objects and the people moving about was very nice. The graphics and game play were fun enough to keep me playing for a long while though I did eventually get frustrated enough by the controls and the off-key music (sorry.. but that melody went a few notes out of any pleasing zone for myself). I really wanted to dig the music and it was almost really great... but damn.. a few of those notes hurt! :)
Great, very complete game for 48 hrs.. congrats!
